  • A good place to stay

"We just returned from a week at Condo de Los Amigos. As everyone else has written, the condo is well appointed, maintained and tastefully decorated with local art. It's a quick 15 minute walk from the center of Puerto Morelos. The beach is just a hundred feet away. The condo owners provided helpful info on favorite restaurants as well as excursions. On our last morning-on our way to the airport! - we forgot 1 piece of luggage in the condo after we had already locked the condo and left the keys inside as instructed - there was a property management employee on site who quickly called for a key to be brought so that we could retrieve the luggage in a timely manner. The only (ever so slight) complaint about the unit would be that the showers can be a bit tricky maintaining the proper water temperature."

  • Wonderful home!

"Casa de Serenidad is located in a quiet area of Isla Mujeres. The house captures the breezes off the Caribbean beautifully and we loved having the house open. It is well equipped for all your vacation needs, we loved the pool and the covered porches. Berna, the owner and the caretakers were very prompt in their answers to our questions. We had a mid week clean up that was done well and fresh towels, which were needed. The house is well maintained. In the immediate area are several small restaurants that served delicious food, all well within walking distance. The B and B located next door had killer "Cadillac Margaritas" you'll know why there is a limit of two! The beach in front of the villa was lovely, however the surf was rolling every day, that is why you venture out and go to Playa Norte for calm waters. We enjoyed Mango's for breakfast and Caribbean Brisas for dinner. El Varadero, Soggy Peso and Reves at Casa de los Suenos are also recommended. The cost of cabs make it very easy to get around inexpensively, and renting a golf cart was a fun way to really see Isla. Casa de Serenidad is a great choice for your vacation, we couldn't be happier with choosing this lovely property."

  • As Advertised - You won't be Disappointed

"Before our stay, we were treated to great communication and making arrangements with one of the house owners, Tom. Tom and his wife were very responsive and accommodating when our plans changed. It was great to work with them prior to our arrival which isn't always the case when planning to rent a home. Thanks Tom!!!! We stayed at the Casa de Paloma for five nights. Our primary focus was fishing which made for very long days on the water and away from the house. Each day when we returned to the house, it was amazing to return to a clean casa and be able to cool down with a refreshing beverage then head our for dinner. The location of the house is perfect as our fishing guide, Jose with Jose Xcalak Tours, would pick us up and drop us off at the house every date. We were close enough to town to make it easy to have dinner in town every night. The house itself if beautiful, well cared for, clean, and has everything you need. In fact, the house may have more than what you need as the furnishings seemed a little grand for the size of the house but you defiantly won't go without during your visit. The true blessing of the house was the caretaker, Rosa. She cleaned the house everyday while we were gone fishing and even did our dishes - heaven!!!!! Rent this house and you won't be disappointed and most likely will not want to leave."

  • Best Ever Family Vacation ! We loved Xaman Ha and Playa Del Carmen!

"We want to thank Rentals Your Way for making our vacation memorable and stress free. Everything was perfect! My two daughters (age 17 and 11) and I had an excellent time in our condo in Xaman Ha! It was the best condo and it was better than the pictures. We highly recommend renting with Rentals Your Way and staying at Xaman Ha Condos. Working with Rentals Your Way was a pleasure. They answered my emails very quickly. And they have a representative on site if you have any problems. We look forward to renting with them again. The condo has the following-- 1) It was very clean. Maid service every other day, which is needed because you are using the towels for the pool, beach and bathing. 2) Great location. It is 10 minute walk at most to the Quinta Avenida and colectivos. Five minute walk to the Ferry to Cozumel. If you are a runner it is less than a five minute run to Playacar, which is a neighborhood and location for fancy hotels. The Avario was a 10 minute walk. 3) The condo complex consists of a beach and pool. Kids loved the pool. I loved the beach. Everyone was happy. 4) The condo had a walk-in kitchen with all the appliances, pots, dishes etc. Walmart is a about a 15 minute walk. Taxis plentiful if you don't want to walk. 5) It is not necessary to rent a car. We took colectivos to Tulum, Cenote Azul and Akumal. Very inexpensive and easy to do. Actually everything in Playa del Carmen is easy to figure out. We felt comfortable immediately. 6) Playa del Carmen is a very safe place to be. 5) Paper products ie toilet paper and paper towels were provided. 6) We loved the animal sculptures made from the towels."

Quintana Roo Travel Tips

Quintana Roo has Perfect Beaches and Much More

The Mexican state of Quintana Roo is on the eastern part of Yucatán Peninsula. It is home to some of the best vacation areas in the country. Some visitors come seeking activity all day and dancing all night; others come for the tranquility of large beaches and warm seas. While the capital city of Quintana Roo is Chetumal, the state also includes Cancún, the islands of Cozumel, Isla Mujheres, and towns such as Bacalar, Felipe Carrillo Puerto and Playa del Carmen. Other places to visit are Puerto Juárez, Akumal, and Puerto Morelos. Remnants of the ancient Mayan civilization abound here, such as at Chaccbhoben, Coba, Kohunlich, Muyil, Tulum, Xel-Há, and Xcaret. And that is just a few! This is a large area, great for mixing relaxing on the beach with some water sports thrown in and day trips in an array of beautiful towns and ancient ruins.

Being geared to tourism, Quintana Roo is easy to explore and most people coming here take advantage of the many options to get around the area. Most choose to arrive via Cancún International Airport and many take a rental car option for maximum freedom to explore. Many choose Quintana Roo Mexico vacation rentals for the same reasons.

Beaches, Water Sports and Theme Parks Galore

Cancún, known as the Mexican Caribbean, sits on the Yucatán Channel and is a world-famous tourist location. Visitors here will enjoy some of the best beaches in the world with an exceptional amount of water sports, such as diving, swimming with dolphins and deep sea fishing. A short ferry ride takes visitors to the beautiful Isla Mujeres and one of the many attractions here is the incredible seafood! The island is a favorite for those who enjoy snorkeling and scuba diving on the many coral reefs. Another major attraction here is the facility for the rescue and breeding of sea turtles. Cancún has great shopping and a variety of theme parks, such as Xplor, Xcaret Eco Park and Xel-Ha.

For those who find the lure of exploration, the Riviera Maya will be a great experience. People come here for the archaeological sites, such as Coba and Tulum.

The town of Bacalar sits on a lagoon of the same name. This beautiful town dates from the 16th century and has a fascinating history of piracy. The 17th-century Fortress de San Felipe Bacalar is now a wonderful tourist attraction.

Those seeking quieter Quintana Roo Mexico resorts have many options to choose from. Puerto Morelos, with its mangrove swamp, or Akumal, meaning "place of the turtles" would make great options. There are many smaller resorts that are less crowded but with equally wonderful beaches and shopping. They are also within close proximity to larger towns for more lively activities.

Archaeological Sites to See

No visit to Quintana Roo Mexico condos is complete without exploring some of the incredible ancient sites in this region. Visitors will enjoy heading into the jungle to visit these sites. Bonampak is famous for its graphic murals of human sacrifice! Kohunlich, Dzibanche and Oxtankah are famous for the lush jungle, exotic birds and wildlife. Bring your bathing suit to Tulum, the "Walled City" where the beach is next to the site. Visitors can view the Fresco remnants before heading for a swim. Accessible by river via long boats is Yaxchilan. Deep in the Chiapas jungle, this site includes several Mayan ruins and is well worth a visit.

Make Your Vacation Perfect with the Perfect Accommodation

Visitors to Quintana Roo Mexico vacation rentals will find a huge variety of accommodation options available. Whether it is a spacious home in the heart of the city or a condo close to a quiet beach, you will find the perfect option. Rather than being bound to a room, these homes offer the space to relax and enjoy a welcoming environment. Homes are equipped with everything required to make a perfect vacation even better.
