Wonderful vacation in Paradise
"We stayed at Casa Catarina for a week in February and we had a fabulous vacation. My sister and her family and our friends and their family stayed in Villa Martini just down the path from us. In total our group was 13 people (6 adults and 7 young children, all under age 6). The home was huge and very comfortable for our family (we did not even use the upper level for sleeping). We loved having the kids pool as well as the regular pool for our kids to spend hours playing in, and the beach right adjacent to the pool was great for the kids as well as for us to watch them. We took everyone to Chankanaab park to swim with the dolphins and manatees, which the kids thought was fantastic. We spent a day at Chen Rio beach on the other side of the island and it was absolutely beautiful. Amber, Vanessa and Rodrigo also arranged a for a boat to take us out on the water one day where we were able to walk around on sand dunes and do some snorkeling in absolutely beautiful water. Watching the breath-taking sunsets over the water every evening was definitely a highlight and something that we looked forward to every evening. We rented the SUV from the homeowner and found that it was a great decision as it was reasonably priced and we liked the convenience of having Vanessa pick us up in it at the airport. Vanessa, Amber and Rodrigo were always available to assist us with anything we needed. They were very knowledgeable about everything on the island; anything you want to do they will arrange for you.
Advice for future visitors would be to be aware of the fact that credit cards are not widely accepted, basically anywhere on the island (including Your Cozumel), so it is important to come with cash. We found that even the bank machines were often unreliable. It was a bit of a hassle to have to drive in every day or two to withdraw more money, and we did not love having to carry large quantities of cash on us every day (although it is important to say that we always felt safe on the island and in our gated community). Additionally, it is good to stock up on food and any other amenities you may need when you get there (or get Vanessa to get them for you prior to arriving), as it was a bit of a drive into the supermarket (and more of a hassle because we did have young children in our group).
Overall we loved our vacation and found that for us, it was a great place to visit as a family. We are already planning to come back."

I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
I was happy with the location.
The vacation rental was very clean.
The property manager was more than helpful.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
We were very satisfied with our stay. Anything that we needed was taken care of right away. We even asked for a later check out time and they were very accommodating. The only thing was how loud the resort next door was. The people over there were drunk and loud and they had music blasting until late into the evening. One other thing you should factor in was the tip for the maid. It was really expensive tipping her on top of the cost. They expected $3/person/day. Wasn't ready for that. Some of the dishes were still dirty (dried food left on them), but we cleaned it up and the maid did our dishes...sooo nice! Beautiful views, close to wonderful snorkeling right on our beach, nice room, huge pillows (bring your own). We would stay again, but just request the other side of the resort. The pool was warm and not refreshing at all. Would be nice if they had a restaurant on the resort or at least a bar."

"WOW!!!! This condo is simply amazing. Very nicely decorated. And of course... the balcony! Pictures don't do it justice, you gotta see it to believe it! We consider ourselves very very lucky to have found this place and can't wait to go back!
Thanks Donna & Mark, our stay was amazing :)"

"My wife, two daughters (14 and 16) and I loved Isla Holbox and Casa Cereza. The Isla has a relaxed atmosphere also as limited cars (only for construction work) are allowed. We relaxed, swum and rented a golf car and bicycles to explore the Isle. To be honest: the golf car was more appreciated by our daughters!
The Case itself is very authentic, clean and space full. It is located a quite part of a quite Isla (we also visited Isla Mujeres and Akumal, which are much more touristic). We very much liked the breakfasts, lunches and especially the smoothies prepared by Sabine helped by her Austrian friend.
Staying at a place like Sabine’s is totally different from staying at a hotel/apartment because you get personal attention, insider tips and help in arranging practicalities like bicycles, transportation. We felt at home but also very much on a holiday.
If you look for the above described: we definitely recommend Sabine's place."
