  • Everything it claims to be and more!

"This house made our vacation. Its perfectly located within the prime of Tulum and yet offers such luxurious privacy and safety. The owner is a gracious host and ensures everything is as it should be without intrusion. The extra services of a chef for a few of our stay at home days was nothing short of decadent and excellent value. Same can be said for the masseur that will come on sight : ) Nothing but praise for this rental!"

  • awesome stay

"I was in Puerto Morelos for a 3-week stay. I rented a very nice [but far pricier] VRBO just south of town for the first part of the trip. For the last part of my vacation I stayed in this casita - it was awesome. It's a cozy fit for no more than two people. It's a room off of the garage in a gated single-home property. The sense of security was very helpful. The property owners [Ken and Joanne] were tremendous and very friendly. I've rented approximately 15 times using VRBO and they were the most accomodating hosts I've ever had the fortune of meeting. They are very excited to show guests the beautiful barrier reef just off shore for snorkelling [you need to take a boat out to it - too far to swim to]. Mittens the cat was a nice visitor in the morning as I enjoyed my coffee. The small pool on site was great for sun tanning and for cooling off. The small kitchen set up in the casita allows you to bring in some groceries and have lighter meals on site. It is a bit of a drive to get to Puerto Morelos, but it never felt like a burden. The one time that I needed to do laundry I simply took everything to the laundromat in town for a small fee. Ken and Joanne designed and built their retirement home and they really did it the right way. The water filtration system is very well done and useful [no lugging heavy water jugs around]. I look forward to a return visit."

  • wonderful private condo

"Stayed here for only 3 nights and was an excellent place to stay. Front desk was extremely helpful, loved the rooftop hot tub we could go to to escape the busy beach. The bed was like a cloud to sleep in we didn't want to get up. Owner was very helpful and informative of places to go. Deffinetly recommend it to anyone."

  • Serendipity

"Words are hard to describe the serenity, peace and relaxation you feel at Casa Milagro. From the beauty outdoors around the pool, to the fragrance the plants emit in the evening is sublime. The rooftop at sunrise & sunset listening to the birds sing of the beauty around is superb. We were greeted by many animals while outside in the evening also, from a family of racoons, a number of cats(the owner leaves food & we bought more), a few agouti and many birds. Now onto inside the house, as the other guests have mentioned, no thing is left unattended. The maids, gardener/pool man take care of everything. Have Chef Lynn Marie cook you a fabulous meal, I enjoyed mine on my birthday. Paty picked up some starter items so we'd have breakfast items on hand and there were some cold beers in the fridge to enjoy our first dip in the pool with. Comfort is top notch to allow yourself to ease into vacation mode. Kitchen had all you could ask for and more. Layout of home for privacy is exceptional, as well as, the decor, lighting, and attention to details...bikes, sun chairs, snorkel gear, etc. We enjoyed the nearby Mayan ruins, it was always cool, comfortable and splendid there with a noble sense and majestic feel, lofty, awe-inspiring. Walking was good for us and we are happy that Casa Milagro is close to everything, yet set back from the hustle and bustle on a not through street on a quiet cul de sac. All we would like to add is that the owner provide an instruction book for the many items around the house so others may not have to contact Paty as much as we did. :)"

Quintana Roo Travel Tips

Quintana Roo has Perfect Beaches and Much More

The Mexican state of Quintana Roo is on the eastern part of Yucatán Peninsula. It is home to some of the best vacation areas in the country. Some visitors come seeking activity all day and dancing all night; others come for the tranquility of large beaches and warm seas. While the capital city of Quintana Roo is Chetumal, the state also includes Cancún, the islands of Cozumel, Isla Mujheres, and towns such as Bacalar, Felipe Carrillo Puerto and Playa del Carmen. Other places to visit are Puerto Juárez, Akumal, and Puerto Morelos. Remnants of the ancient Mayan civilization abound here, such as at Chaccbhoben, Coba, Kohunlich, Muyil, Tulum, Xel-Há, and Xcaret. And that is just a few! This is a large area, great for mixing relaxing on the beach with some water sports thrown in and day trips in an array of beautiful towns and ancient ruins.

Being geared to tourism, Quintana Roo is easy to explore and most people coming here take advantage of the many options to get around the area. Most choose to arrive via Cancún International Airport and many take a rental car option for maximum freedom to explore. Many choose Quintana Roo Mexico vacation rentals for the same reasons.

Beaches, Water Sports and Theme Parks Galore

Cancún, known as the Mexican Caribbean, sits on the Yucatán Channel and is a world-famous tourist location. Visitors here will enjoy some of the best beaches in the world with an exceptional amount of water sports, such as diving, swimming with dolphins and deep sea fishing. A short ferry ride takes visitors to the beautiful Isla Mujeres and one of the many attractions here is the incredible seafood! The island is a favorite for those who enjoy snorkeling and scuba diving on the many coral reefs. Another major attraction here is the facility for the rescue and breeding of sea turtles. Cancún has great shopping and a variety of theme parks, such as Xplor, Xcaret Eco Park and Xel-Ha.

For those who find the lure of exploration, the Riviera Maya will be a great experience. People come here for the archaeological sites, such as Coba and Tulum.

The town of Bacalar sits on a lagoon of the same name. This beautiful town dates from the 16th century and has a fascinating history of piracy. The 17th-century Fortress de San Felipe Bacalar is now a wonderful tourist attraction.

Those seeking quieter Quintana Roo Mexico resorts have many options to choose from. Puerto Morelos, with its mangrove swamp, or Akumal, meaning "place of the turtles" would make great options. There are many smaller resorts that are less crowded but with equally wonderful beaches and shopping. They are also within close proximity to larger towns for more lively activities.

Archaeological Sites to See

No visit to Quintana Roo Mexico condos is complete without exploring some of the incredible ancient sites in this region. Visitors will enjoy heading into the jungle to visit these sites. Bonampak is famous for its graphic murals of human sacrifice! Kohunlich, Dzibanche and Oxtankah are famous for the lush jungle, exotic birds and wildlife. Bring your bathing suit to Tulum, the "Walled City" where the beach is next to the site. Visitors can view the Fresco remnants before heading for a swim. Accessible by river via long boats is Yaxchilan. Deep in the Chiapas jungle, this site includes several Mayan ruins and is well worth a visit.

Make Your Vacation Perfect with the Perfect Accommodation
