  • Another BEST stay that was not long enough

"Thanks Kim and David for another great stay in your condo. We were very comfortable and slept extremely well. The weather gods were with us as well. We had rain on the last night we were there. The rest of the time was sunny and just the right temp for a pleasant stay. Really liked the new furniture and changes in the bathroom. We did miss the recliners on the patio however and the internet WIFI doesn't work most of the time. We really did not need to be connected anyway. It's a vacation. You just cannot beat the employees there. They are johnny on the spot if you need them for anything. Love them all. Our favorite place to eat this time was Limon'. You need reservations and if you want Lobster Sergio, you need to tell them when you make your reservation. A week is just not long enough. Until next time........"

  • 5th Time at Casa Price!

"We recently stayed at Casa Price and wish we could return tomorrow. The casa is perfect in every way. From the spacious bedrooms and living area to the great patio and rooftop terrace. The views are amazing and the beach is perfect! Best of all is Rosa- She is always smiling, happy to help with anything and a great cook! The casa is an easy walk to 5th Avenue either by road or beach. The neighbourhood is very safe and friendly. The taxi ride from the Cancun Airport is less than 1 hour and once you arrive getting around by taxi is not expensive. So happy we found Casa Price and can't wait to return next year!!"

  • Perfect location! Stop wasting your time searching!

"I could go on and on about how great this place is but I will try to make this short and sweet. First off this property is located right in the center of everything but is in a secure and quiet complex so you when you are done with whatever you were doing that day you can come back to piece and quiet. One of my favorite things to do after a hard day "out on the town" is coming back to the condo and taking a nap on the patio and listening to the waves crash. Or just lay in bed with the door open. Its that safe where you can sleep with the door open and you wont have to worry. I wish you knew what I knew right now. You would stop your search and book this right now! We have been to Cancun 3 times now and this was by far the best place we have stayed. The last two times we did all inclusive. I will never do that again. No reason to when you can walk right across the street and buy your groceries from a brand new state of the art grocery store that has everything you need. Also, don't even think about renting a car. There is absolutely no need! Everything you need is in walking distance. Also, if you want to book an excursion just go outside, take a left, walk down the hill/driveway and go to the building on the first corner on your left. You will see it right away. They do a good job and they don't try to pressure you in to anything. Make sure to do Xel-Ha! So much fun! Also, make sure to take the ferry (which is right next door) to Isla Mujeres and rent a golf cart to tour the island in. The ferry is like 20 bucks per person for round trip. Wait... one more thing. Make sure to try out Calypso's. Cheap food, good service, and strong drinks! Its, just like everything else, in walking distance. Probably 4 blocks. I will continue to rent this property as long as its available. Stop thinking about it, just book it, you will not be disappointed!"

  • The pics don't do this justice...

"We stayed here in March 2015, and loved every minute of it. I'll start by saying the picture of this place don't really do it justice. The rooms are spacious, the place is beautiful and there's everything you could need (except laundry), including blenders, a coffee maker, lots of dishes, a tonne of towels, etc. The location is stellar...it's right on 5th near the end of the strip in an area that sees some action, but is generally quiet by 12-1am. The AC works very well in all 3 rooms with separate controls and the two bathrooms were well cared for. Don't forget it has a huge balcony AND a rooftop terrace with whirlpool. The only downside - its a 3rd floor walk-up...not a big deal, but it feels worse after a draining day of doing nothing on the beach (which is at most a 6 minute walk away). I'll round this out by saying - Yes I would recommend this place. Also - the local property managers were friendly and very helpful!!!"

Quintana Roo Travel Tips

Quintana Roo has Perfect Beaches and Much More

The Mexican state of Quintana Roo is on the eastern part of Yucatán Peninsula. It is home to some of the best vacation areas in the country. Some visitors come seeking activity all day and dancing all night; others come for the tranquility of large beaches and warm seas. While the capital city of Quintana Roo is Chetumal, the state also includes Cancún, the islands of Cozumel, Isla Mujheres, and towns such as Bacalar, Felipe Carrillo Puerto and Playa del Carmen. Other places to visit are Puerto Juárez, Akumal, and Puerto Morelos. Remnants of the ancient Mayan civilization abound here, such as at Chaccbhoben, Coba, Kohunlich, Muyil, Tulum, Xel-Há, and Xcaret. And that is just a few! This is a large area, great for mixing relaxing on the beach with some water sports thrown in and day trips in an array of beautiful towns and ancient ruins.

Being geared to tourism, Quintana Roo is easy to explore and most people coming here take advantage of the many options to get around the area. Most choose to arrive via Cancún International Airport and many take a rental car option for maximum freedom to explore. Many choose Quintana Roo Mexico vacation rentals for the same reasons.

Beaches, Water Sports and Theme Parks Galore

Cancún, known as the Mexican Caribbean, sits on the Yucatán Channel and is a world-famous tourist location. Visitors here will enjoy some of the best beaches in the world with an exceptional amount of water sports, such as diving, swimming with dolphins and deep sea fishing. A short ferry ride takes visitors to the beautiful Isla Mujeres and one of the many attractions here is the incredible seafood! The island is a favorite for those who enjoy snorkeling and scuba diving on the many coral reefs. Another major attraction here is the facility for the rescue and breeding of sea turtles. Cancún has great shopping and a variety of theme parks, such as Xplor, Xcaret Eco Park and Xel-Ha.

For those who find the lure of exploration, the Riviera Maya will be a great experience. People come here for the archaeological sites, such as Coba and Tulum.

The town of Bacalar sits on a lagoon of the same name. This beautiful town dates from the 16th century and has a fascinating history of piracy. The 17th-century Fortress de San Felipe Bacalar is now a wonderful tourist attraction.

Those seeking quieter Quintana Roo Mexico resorts have many options to choose from. Puerto Morelos, with its mangrove swamp, or Akumal, meaning "place of the turtles" would make great options. There are many smaller resorts that are less crowded but with equally wonderful beaches and shopping. They are also within close proximity to larger towns for more lively activities.

Archaeological Sites to See

No visit to Quintana Roo Mexico condos is complete without exploring some of the incredible ancient sites in this region. Visitors will enjoy heading into the jungle to visit these sites. Bonampak is famous for its graphic murals of human sacrifice! Kohunlich, Dzibanche and Oxtankah are famous for the lush jungle, exotic birds and wildlife. Bring your bathing suit to Tulum, the "Walled City" where the beach is next to the site. Visitors can view the Fresco remnants before heading for a swim. Accessible by river via long boats is Yaxchilan. Deep in the Chiapas jungle, this site includes several Mayan ruins and is well worth a visit.

Make Your Vacation Perfect with the Perfect Accommodation

Visitors to Quintana Roo Mexico vacation rentals will find a huge variety of accommodation options available. Whether it is a spacious home in the heart of the city or a condo close to a quiet beach, you will find the perfect option. Rather than being bound to a room, these homes offer the space to relax and enjoy a welcoming environment. Homes are equipped with everything required to make a perfect vacation even better.
