  • Excellant!

"The pictures on the website do not do this condo justice! It is beautiful. The patio, the beach, the condo were all first class. The beach and pool were never crowded! Hard to believe we were there at spring break time! The back bedroom could use a new matress and new pillows but don't let this deter you from booking this property. The property staff are very helpful with booking taxis and everyone is very friendly. There is a fantastic snorkel rental just down the beach past the pier. It is Dive Palancar. Fantastic! I'm a nervous snokeler and I loved it! We saw a nurse shark, numerous star fish, a sea turtle and hundreds of fish. The dive staff are the best! Victoria cooked us a great dinner our last night there. The only problem with that was that we had so many leftovers and we had to leave them. If you want Victoria to cook, don't wait until the last night! You cannot go wrong booking this condo. Thank you to the owners for a fantastic restful end to my daughters wedding in Puerto Aventuras. It was the wonderful, relaxing, wind down time we needed. Wish we could have stayed longer!"

  • Island Loft

"My sister and I just spent two weeks at this condo. It was one of the best vacations we have enjoyed. We rented a golf cart for the entire vacation so had a way to get to all of the places around the island, explore the island and enjoyed watching the Big 10 basketball games at Jax's. The grocery store had absolutely everything you would need or want and the condo was beautifully furnished. Isreal was most helpful and all of the staff were so friendly - always greeting us as we walked by. Would love to return."

  • Best location

"Just steps from the newer section of 5th Ave., this condo is in a perfect location. It is bigger than it looks and the roof top deck and pool are a plus. Kim, the property manager, was very helpful. I'm looking forward to going back and staying in this unit again."

  • A topflight condo

"We have stayed at this condo more than once because it is very comfortable and in a great location in Playa. The north end is the newest area in the city and convenient to many businesses as well as tourist destinations. Restaurants and shopping are extremely accessible. The beach is visible from the front of the condo building- so easy to walk to. The pool at Via 38 is one of the most usable in Playa. It is large and extremely well maintained, as are all of the grounds. The staff at Via 38 is friendly and helpful. This condo is well maintained and attractive. The bedrooms are large. The kitchen is furnished with all the basics and having a washer and dryer is indispensable. We are senior travelers and fully appreciated the condo's appointments and location."

Yucatan, Mayan Riviera Travel Tips

Mayan Resorts Along the Yucatan Peninsula

On your next trip to the Yucatan Peninsula, consider traveling to Mayan resorts. The Mayan Riviera in Mexico is one of the more fascinating destination spots in the world. You have tropical beaches, ancient ruins, and a myriad of marine and wildlife, all steps away from Yucatan vacation rentals. The Mayan Riviera is more than one city; in fact, it is about 11 cities. Popular destinations for Yucatan villas include but are not limited to Playa del Carmen, Playacar, Akumal, Tulum, Puerto Aventuras, Puerto Morelos, and Xpu-Ha.

Forested Scenery near Yucatan Vacation Rentals

As you drive along route 307 to reach Yucatan vacation rentals, you will discover the land is flat and the scenery is akin to a flat forested region much like Canada or Europe. Interspersed along the highway are boulder-laden cliffs that will lead you down to clean, white sandy beaches. Once you arrive at Yucatan villas, you are able to sit on a private beach all day watching the waves roll in or playing in the surf. Playa del Carmen is the most popular Mayan Riviera destination where plenty of Mayan resorts await.

Yucatan Villas by Fifth Avenue

If you elect to stay in Playa del Carmen rather than other Mayan Riviera destinations, you can walk down Fifth Avenue on the local strip and pet wild lions, play with boa constrictors, or watch Maruichi bands. Many of the Yucatan villas are situated on the strip to provide you the most active nightlife and access to the beautiful beach. Cruises dock close to the strip, filling up the town with new faces each Tuesday and Thursday. Because so many cruise ships dock there, you'll find many jewelry stores, arts and crafts stores, and other retail shops that offer wonderful deals.

Mayan Resorts Provide Whale Shark Sightings

Water sports are the most attractive attractions in the Mayan Riviera. From Mayan resorts, you can head out to sea on a deep sea fishing tour or scuba dive boat. If you truly want a diving experience you will never forget, make sure the dive boat is heading to the known locations where the whale sharks hang out. Whale sharks can be very elusive creatures but dive boats in the Mayan Riviera have managed to find areas where they tend to hang out. At the end of your day with water sports, it may be time to head back to your Yucatan vacation rentals for a home-cooked Mexican meal.
