  • Perfect.

"Casa Del Sol is a gorgeous, tranquil escape. We had an amazing vacation; the home, the beach, the pool, the snorkeling, the whale watching (from the porch)! The storage room has just about everything you need. The kitchen is very well equipped, and the home spacious and comfortable. The kids watched a different great movie from the DVD collection every night. The view from that hammock is like no other! We will be back, no doubt. This property exceeded all expectations. Kim (property owner) and Julie (manager) were gracious and easy to work with. Thanks again!"

  • My 4th visit to this beautiful property

"This is my 4th stay at Linda and Bob's beautiful property. I went with my usual partners, my sweetheart Gail and our very good friend Sharon. Again the stay was amazing. The Mexican Indian theme blends right into the jungle just outside your bedroom windows and the modern Mexican architecture with the fabulous view of the bay below. We have never had to use the air conditioner during our stays as the condo is very open and the breezes waft through the entire condo. I was a little under the weather when I arrived this year and found myself spending more time at the condo than usual. What a treat. I fully appreciated using the infinity pool all day long and lounging under the hot Mexican sun. I felt better almost immediately and left feeling much better than I was when I arrived. The maid Eva is a lovely person and does a very good job of cleaning the condo three times a week. We regard her as family when we are there. Alfredo who looks after the property is a wealth of knowledge of the PV area and will do anything to make your stay more enjoyable. We stayed for two weeks. It wasn't enough. I wanted more. We were curious and looked at ads for other properties for rent and I can honestly say there is not another property in Puerto Vallarta that can compare with this one."

  • El Templito - a beautiful haven

"My wife and I found El Templito to be a small, beautiful and peaceful haven with considerable privacy afforded by the surrounding growth, and yet with the nearly-secluded beach just steps away. And a lovely pool! As an added bonus, it was one of the very few homes we've rented in the PV-Sayulita area where everything worked; when the air conditioner went out in one of the bedrooms, the wonderful manager (Iris) had it fixed within two hours."

Yucatan, Mayan Riviera Travel Tips

Mayan Resorts Along the Yucatan Peninsula

On your next trip to the Yucatan Peninsula, consider traveling to Mayan resorts. The Mayan Riviera in Mexico is one of the more fascinating destination spots in the world. You have tropical beaches, ancient ruins, and a myriad of marine and wildlife, all steps away from Yucatan vacation rentals. The Mayan Riviera is more than one city; in fact, it is about 11 cities. Popular destinations for Yucatan villas include but are not limited to Playa del Carmen, Playacar, Akumal, Tulum, Puerto Aventuras, Puerto Morelos, and Xpu-Ha.

Forested Scenery near Yucatan Vacation Rentals

As you drive along route 307 to reach Yucatan vacation rentals, you will discover the land is flat and the scenery is akin to a flat forested region much like Canada or Europe. Interspersed along the highway are boulder-laden cliffs that will lead you down to clean, white sandy beaches. Once you arrive at Yucatan villas, you are able to sit on a private beach all day watching the waves roll in or playing in the surf. Playa del Carmen is the most popular Mayan Riviera destination where plenty of Mayan resorts await.

Yucatan Villas by Fifth Avenue

If you elect to stay in Playa del Carmen rather than other Mayan Riviera destinations, you can walk down Fifth Avenue on the local strip and pet wild lions, play with boa constrictors, or watch Maruichi bands. Many of the Yucatan villas are situated on the strip to provide you the most active nightlife and access to the beautiful beach. Cruises dock close to the strip, filling up the town with new faces each Tuesday and Thursday. Because so many cruise ships dock there, you'll find many jewelry stores, arts and crafts stores, and other retail shops that offer wonderful deals.

Mayan Resorts Provide Whale Shark Sightings

Water sports are the most attractive attractions in the Mayan Riviera. From Mayan resorts, you can head out to sea on a deep sea fishing tour or scuba dive boat. If you truly want a diving experience you will never forget, make sure the dive boat is heading to the known locations where the whale sharks hang out. Whale sharks can be very elusive creatures but dive boats in the Mayan Riviera have managed to find areas where they tend to hang out. At the end of your day with water sports, it may be time to head back to your Yucatan vacation rentals for a home-cooked Mexican meal.
