  • Beautiful Beach House

"We visited San Benito for three weeks in December and absolutely loved this house that had everything we were hoping for. Beautiful place, close enough to Progreso, amazing pool and even better beach. We spent days suntanning and swimming and nights walking to nearby hotels and enjoying fresh and organic food in their restaurants. The house is tastefully designed, beds and sheets were super comfy, kitchen is fully equipped, bathrooms are beautiful and there is absolutely nothing more that one would need. Also, there is big and gorgeous terrace with patio furniture and the pool, which is so far my favorite, it has very little chemicals, since the water is salty and it's deep enough to jump in. I would highly recommend this place to everyone, I can't say enough praises to the owners and manager. Regarding a comment about fans in living room, one wouldn't need them, this place is ventilated enough for the fresh air and breeze to go through the house and keep it cool all the time. It's such a beautiful, fresh and breezy home, because it's right on the beach. If you want a super relaxing, quite, romantic holiday or family holiday, this is a place to be."

  • Great place

"We stayed at Casa Paraiso for a week and loved it. It is a short walk to the beach, restaurants and nightlife. The private roof top patio was an awesome place to relax. Kris was great to deal with and the owners have made it a very nice place. We would definitely like to return. Highly recommend this condo."

  • WONDERFUL VACATIONS

"We rent this condo that I found on VRBO. The owner Nancy's always answer my questions very fast, she's a nice person. Laura who work with her she's nice too and helpfull. We stayed 26 days at this condo and everythings was OK. The pictures you see on VRBO is the same in the condo. You are very close to the beach, BBQ, downtown, the bus (nerver wait), taxi, laundry, OXXO, Ferry to Isla Mujeres, Barcelo Costa Cancun, (4 km of hotel zone, 30 min. from airport. They are 8 beaches towels, 4 medium and 4 small towells, dryer, iron, safe box, tv, cable, Wi-Fi ($), hot water. The kitchen is full equip. The people was very nice and help us too. They are air conditionner in 2 bedrooms and kitchen. It's OK and it's work good. The view from condo to sea is wonderful. We love very much this condo than we will book it already for next december for one month. We are rent many condo in (Playa del Carmen, Barbados, Bermuda, Aruba), and this one is our favorite. I recommend this condo for those who like to prepare food, without the luxury of a 5 star, but it is functional and comfortable. Wal Mart, Costco, Europa, Sam'S Club, are in downtown by bus (R-2) and they are a lot of good food (meat, vegetables, fruits, etc). Thank you Nancy and Laura! See you in 11 months... Yucatan, Mayan Riviera Travel Tips

Mayan Resorts Along the Yucatan Peninsula

On your next trip to the Yucatan Peninsula, consider traveling to Mayan resorts. The Mayan Riviera in Mexico is one of the more fascinating destination spots in the world. You have tropical beaches, ancient ruins, and a myriad of marine and wildlife, all steps away from Yucatan vacation rentals. The Mayan Riviera is more than one city; in fact, it is about 11 cities. Popular destinations for Yucatan villas include but are not limited to Playa del Carmen, Playacar, Akumal, Tulum, Puerto Aventuras, Puerto Morelos, and Xpu-Ha.

Forested Scenery near Yucatan Vacation Rentals

As you drive along route 307 to reach Yucatan vacation rentals, you will discover the land is flat and the scenery is akin to a flat forested region much like Canada or Europe. Interspersed along the highway are boulder-laden cliffs that will lead you down to clean, white sandy beaches. Once you arrive at Yucatan villas, you are able to sit on a private beach all day watching the waves roll in or playing in the surf. Playa del Carmen is the most popular Mayan Riviera destination where plenty of Mayan resorts await.

Yucatan Villas by Fifth Avenue

If you elect to stay in Playa del Carmen rather than other Mayan Riviera destinations, you can walk down Fifth Avenue on the local strip and pet wild lions, play with boa constrictors, or watch Maruichi bands. Many of the Yucatan villas are situated on the strip to provide you the most active nightlife and access to the beautiful beach. Cruises dock close to the strip, filling up the town with new faces each Tuesday and Thursday. Because so many cruise ships dock there, you'll find many jewelry stores, arts and crafts stores, and other retail shops that offer wonderful deals.

Mayan Resorts Provide Whale Shark Sightings

Water sports are the most attractive attractions in the Mayan Riviera. From Mayan resorts, you can head out to sea on a deep sea fishing tour or scuba dive boat. If you truly want a diving experience you will never forget, make sure the dive boat is heading to the known locations where the whale sharks hang out. Whale sharks can be very elusive creatures but dive boats in the Mayan Riviera have managed to find areas where they tend to hang out. At the end of your day with water sports, it may be time to head back to your Yucatan vacation rentals for a home-cooked Mexican meal.
