  • Doesn't get better than this

"We only had three nights but I wish it could have been longer. This 3rd floor apartment is very large and open. There is a balcony on the main floor and also a huge terrace that is reached by a flight of stairs. There is a table, chairs and lounge chairs on the terrace and it's a great place to sit and have a glass of wine while enjoying the view. We really appreciated the washing machine too. The whole booking process was smooth and professional. Any questions we had were answered promptly and we felt very welcome on our arrival. Between David and the rental agent, we got a lot of advice and helpful information about the area. There are so many great restaurants and cafes in this neighborhood that we ate at a different place every day and hardly used the kitchen. ( Don Julios and Las Horas being our favorites). We also checked out a couple of good ice cream shops too. We found it very easy to get around on the underground Metro and there is a stop not far from the apartment. The apartment is in a secure building in a nice neighborhoodand and we always felt perfectly safe. I would love to stay here again and would definitely recommend it to friends."

  • Convenience and Bargain

"At face value, you can certainly find a more modern or fancier place in Buenos Aires. However, though the apartment is basic and nothing fancy, the location and price can't be beat. Five minutes walk to two subway stations, close to attractions and a short walk to the more hip Palermo Viejo neighborhood and plenty of grocery stores around make this an ideal location to stay. Also, the landlord Laura and her brother Diego are great people. Anything you need, they're there for you. They helped us get taxis, exchange money to the better currency rate and gave us tips on where to go. Just an email or phone call away, anything that goes wrong or you need is taken care if immediately. One can not ask for better service. No it's not fancy, but for convenience, price and service, this place was just right and we had a good time."

  • The Best Place, The Best Location, The Best Price

"Two friends and I went to live there for a month because we went to take a summer course in Argentina. I know most people don't believe in this reviews, but I'll try to state my own experiences in here so you can see that we did in fact stayed in there and loved it. THE OWNERS First of all, Ale and Fede are really great hosts; Fede even showed us how to really cook an Argentina steak in the rooftop. THE HOUSE The place is gigantic (even larger that it even looks on pictures). It has one large living room with a super confortable sofa; a very large dining room were you could invite several guests. The two rooms are very spacious, each with its own closet. The kitchen has everything you need; the refrigerator has several magnetics of delivery places if you don't want to cook that day. There is even a small study room if you want to go read there. But the PERFECT place in the house is the rooftop. It is a very spacious place where you can cook in the grill that is in there and eat in the table that is set up in there gazing at the sunset or even the stars. There is a girl which does the cleaning every know and then, so you don't have to worry about this or about here (she was super friendly, gave us tips on our stay, and both Fede and Ale trust her). Take into account that the apartment is in the second floor to which there are several stairs. Also, within the apartment/house there are many other stairs, so it might not be the best place for someone with a disability or an elder person. THE ZONE The house is set in Palermo Hollywood, which might not be as fancy as Palermo SoHo, nor are there many boutique stores to do your shopping. However, you won't be needing any of that. If you are looking for a cozy zone where you can find a convenient store, supermarket (both large and small), a small bar, a thousand restaurants literally just a block away, this is the place for you. Simultaneously, if you are looking to go out and have a good time, most of the small but important clubs are approximately 3 blocks away from you, and several others are just a walk away; we had a great experience going there and then walking back to the house, almost never using taxi. You can walk to most places from the house. There was a construction when we went there which was the only inconvenience because of some noises and the workers, but nothing that could affect our stay in there. I really recommend this place. It is way better than it advertises for."
