"Es un excelente apartamento en una muy buena ubicación, con todas las comodidades que tengo en mi casa. Oleh y Maria, son muy buenos anfitriones y nos ayudaron a programar nuestra estadía. No me queda mas que agradecerles por todo"

  • Magnificent!!!!

"My wife and I are nearing the end of a 2 1/2 month stay in this fabulous apartment. This was our third summer stay in BA, and was by far the best. The location is great; never a problem getting a cab. Several bus stops right outside the front door, although we didn't use the buses because cabs are so cheap. The apartment itself is large, very comfortable, and beautifully furnished and equipt; dozens of books on architecture and art. Plenty of hot water. Only 5 apartments in the building; in 2+ months only saw two people in the lobby. Only negative is the noise in both bedrooms; the buses stop just feet from the bedroom windows and the sound of their brakes penetrates the double glazed windows and the silent motorized shutters. A white noise machine handles the traffic noise, but not the buses braking. We tend to be heavy sleepers, so the noise wasn't a major problem. Marcella is super; we had no serious problems during our visit, but she was most responsive in giving us advice and resolving a couple of minor issues. The official conversion rate is currently 8.4 pesos to the dollar, but the "blue" rate is 15.1 peso to the dollar, so we recommend that you carry high denomination dollar bills. Brits and Europeans might well consider carrying US Dollars to convert at the blue rate; The current official rate for euros is 11 pesos; sterling is 13.7 (NO BLUE RATE>>!). We highly recommend this beautiful apartment and we hope to return next summer."

  • Super location, great little place!

"My husband and I spent a week in Buenos Aires at this apartment and couldn't have been more satisfied. First of all, we had a great location in a very quiet building, and the apartment owner Max met us at the apartment the morning we arrived from the airport, giving us good local advice for sights, restaurants, transportation etc.. Also, there is a good collection of travel guides that we used extensively. The apartment is small, but a much better set-up than just a hotel room as we had a fully-equipped kitchen, a living room with dining table to spread out in and of course the bed and bathrooms. We never heard noise from any neighbors, and once the windows are closed, the street noise is very minimal. Max added some nice touches like an umbrella (we needed it one day), hair dryer, electrical adapters and a lock box. Visitors can easily pay $100 more per night for a hotel room in this area, but they won't be able to walk down the hall and make a midnight snack or cup of tea when they want in a single hotel room. Live like a Porteno for your stay!"

  • Spectacular apartment, Perfect location, Extremely helpful owner and manager

"We had a wonderful trip to Argentina and this apartment was a significant part of the joy. We had never been to Buenos Aires and honestly did not know what to expect. The city is beautiful and this apartment is located perfectly in Recoleta. There is a gourmet food and wine shop just steps away in one direction and a full service grocery store just steps away in the other direction. If you are like us, and find fancy hotels too small and too expensive, but still love ornate hotel lobbies and bars, you can walk to both the Alvear Palace hotel and the Four Seasons for a drink, and then return home to a fabulous and large place. The kitchen and terrace in the apartment are beautiful, and the very large living and dining area are decorated with exquisite Argentine art. What really made our trip special, however, is that the owner went out of his way from the minute we decided to rent this place to make sure our trip was fabulous. There is a local manager who greeted us and helped us with the apartment, where to eat, where to go, how to exchange money, etc. We didn't want to leave."
