My kind of place
"I was greeted by Alfredo who is top in guiding his guests around the apartment, and in town. Could not be better.
Of course it is not a modern place but that is not what people are after when they see the house advertisement. It is a charming place well located and very quiet.
I will go back for sure !"

"I had an extraordinary vacation in Buenos Aires. Although my "apartment" in Recoleta was very small, it was perfect for me. Although it can sleep two people, it was ideal for a single adult. It was situated in a great neighborhood, just 2 short blocks from the school where I was enrolled in a Spanish immersion program, and ideally located for all tourist activities. The neighborhood was safe and lively, near lots of good restaurants, walking distance to museums and the famous Recoleta Cementaria. Cecelia, who "managed" the apartment is a gem and was helpful in every way. I'm sorry I had not pre-arranged to stay longer and hope I will have an opportunity to return."

"We had a great time regardless of the rain. The city is very walkable and the location is pretty central. The subway is only a few blocks away (6-7) but for the most part we chose to walk and be amongst the city (we walked about 8 mi/day which is probably more than most would do but the best way to experience the city). Taxis for 6 are not available or we would have used more but still walked a lot.
We were with our 4 kids (13-20) and although workable the 3rd bedroom is a loft and above the kitchen, so not much privacy if needed and direct access to only the half bathroom downstairs so need to be careful going downstairs in the middle of the night (not recommended for young kids).
Nice historical charm, well appointed kitchen, half a block to a grocery story, and dozens of restaurants within a couple of blocks. Martin and his driver were great! Thanks."

"My 2nd stay at this wonderful apartment was even better. As promised, Carlos had a bottle of Malbec waiting for me. Maria the manger was wonderful and helpful as ever!! I am a man, traveling with 2 women. The 3 bathrooms were very much appreciated. The place is perfectly located. Close to all, plenty of cabs available if you don't walk. But it is very quiet and peaceful if you just want to relax. Maria recommended a bicycle tour which we loved. You get to see places you never would get to on your own. 4 hours with plenty of stops and lunch on your own in La Boca. (Don't miss it...Go on your own if not by bike) Make sure you visit the Cemetery (just a few blocks from the apartment!) Go to a Tango show! (Maria can help with that too!) Have a Parilla lunch or dinner. Take a day trip to Uruguay. Enjoy the great City and people of B.A. and make this apartment your base and a grand place to come home to at any time!!"
