  • Perfect!

"We had a great time at this apartment! It was perfect: the kitchen is full of ammenities and everything works well; the bathroom is big and comfortable, the shower is very good. The bed is very comfortable, we could sleep for hours.. The apartment is quiet, we didn't hear noise. The condition of this apartment is awesome, you can see everything that is in picture. Very clean and wonderful. Also, Sebastian gave us a free cleaning at our staying. The location is perfect: near from El Ateneu, Av. Sta. Fé and Av. Callao. You can have everything in Sta Fé and Callao, like restaurants, bars, pharmacy and supermarkets. We can recommend the restaurant call "La Choclita", there you can have the best "parilla" (meat) ever and it's very cheap. Near, just 2 blocks, you can have a good supermarket call "Disco". The icecream of "Persicco" is very good and very near from this apartment. Just 8 blocks or 10, you can have the best pizza (ohhhh, the best!) called "El cuartito". It's not a rich place and visually chic because it's a excentric argentine place, there you can see argentine residents, but it was one of the best pizzas I've ever tasted! Near you can have good coffee shops too, like Bonafide, Freddo and others places. We can recommend good places to eat too: Sushi Club on recoleta or Puerto Madero, for japonese food; Sottovoce for italian food (perfect, perfect!!!, around 10 blocks from the apartment, you can go walking), and El Mercado (rich and chic place! It's far, in Puerto Madero). Well, everything is well. We can recommend a lot this apartment for everyone! Do not doubt, was one of the best that I've ever stayed. Thanks Sebastian and Alejandra for everything."

  • 2nd Time's Was Even Better!

"My 2nd stay at this wonderful apartment was even better. As promised, Carlos had a bottle of Malbec waiting for me. Maria the manger was wonderful and helpful as ever!! I am a man, traveling with 2 women. The 3 bathrooms were very much appreciated. The place is perfectly located. Close to all, plenty of cabs available if you don't walk. But it is very quiet and peaceful if you just want to relax. Maria recommended a bicycle tour which we loved. You get to see places you never would get to on your own. 4 hours with plenty of stops and lunch on your own in La Boca. (Don't miss it...Go on your own if not by bike) Make sure you visit the Cemetery (just a few blocks from the apartment!) Go to a Tango show! (Maria can help with that too!) Have a Parilla lunch or dinner. Take a day trip to Uruguay. Enjoy the great City and people of B.A. and make this apartment your base and a grand place to come home to at any time!!"

  • Wonderful Apartment

"Location may be everything, but comfort is equally important. We loved both. We were four adults and one child, and this apartment easily accommodated our needs...and then some. And we spent one month in the apartment. The beds and bedding are top notch. The bathrooms are stylish and functional. The entire home is uncluttered and tastefully decorated--including five paintings by Palermo Hollywood artist, Milo Lockett-- having been completely renovated and restored recently. The kitchen is modern, with everything you need to cook a meal. Though the apartment within a quick walk of really great restaurants (we ate Cumana and Parilla Peña 4 times each during the month), bars (for example, there are 4 English-speaking bars within a block or 3: Casa Bar, El Alamo, Temple bar, and Shamrock), cafés (Havanna on the corner Starbucks down the lane) and bakeries (medialunas are everywhere). There are also large grocery stores (Disco and Carrefour) within a short walk, while smaller grocers are just about every block. Shopping. Av Santa Fe is loaded with shops to fit any budget and is one block from the apartment. And just a few blocks north on Rodriguez Peña or Callao and you'll stumble onto the more posh shops. The Ricoleta cemetery is near loads of these shops. transportation. Taxis are easy to catch on the corner across from Havanna. Collectivos down on Santa Fe, and the Subte is an easy walk down Callao (green and red lines). Short taxi ride will get you to Palermo, San Telmo, or Boca. Safety. This is a very safe neighborhood, and really there wasn't a moment we didn't feel completely secure. Eliana and Patrick were great help during check in/out and on the few occasions when we has questions. We loved Buenos Aires and the apartment made seeing and experiencing all of it all the more rewarding. Thank you!"

  • Magnificent Stay in Recoleta!

"The ideal hosts are Claudio & his wife Alejandra! Upon arrival at the 2nd floor apt orientation, there was a cold 2l bottle of water, cookies & flowers. Everything needed for a stay was there, including 2 TV's, large refrigerator, cell phone(you buy minutes), landline, comfortable bed & a washer with a dryer function that we used after each cloth washing. We only used the elevator for luggage on the 1st/last day, as the stairs were good exercise for all the great Argentine food we consumed. A good cafe, Arenales Resto, is just 30 feet away at the corner for morning coffee/medialunas(pastry). It was a warm Spring, so the ac was used often and worked great. There's plenty of room for luggage/clothing storage and good modern lighting, plus a large window for daylight. We would eat out 1 day & the next day cook using the range, microwave & toaster oven with all the cookware available. Communication was always professional/prompt with our hosts. We will return!"
