  • Very comfortable! Great Location

"Max’s apartment was great. It is a very comfortable, clean and quiet place. The apt. is fully equipped with nice furniture and very nicely decorated. The kitchen is large and it was perfect for us who enjoy cooking some meals. The location couldn’t be any better. We enjoyed walking to many of the cafes and restaurants that are in the neighborhood. We really loved this neighborhood! Max was very helpful. He answered all our questions and gave us some recommendations of places to see. We would definitely stay at this apt. again"

  • Best View and Secure Building

"Wonderful unit in a very secure building! you need a key to get in or out of entrance and entry gate. The unit is quiet yet you can still feel the vibrant city vibe with amazing views of the Cemetery! You feel like you are sleeping with Eva Peron! she is that close...haha Unit was efficient, fully equipped, clean, secure and comfortable. Just bring your toothbrush!"

  • Wonderful Apartment

"Location may be everything, but comfort is equally important. We loved both. We were four adults and one child, and this apartment easily accommodated our needs...and then some. And we spent one month in the apartment. The beds and bedding are top notch. The bathrooms are stylish and functional. The entire home is uncluttered and tastefully decorated--including five paintings by Palermo Hollywood artist, Milo Lockett-- having been completely renovated and restored recently. The kitchen is modern, with everything you need to cook a meal. Though the apartment within a quick walk of really great restaurants (we ate Cumana and Parilla Peña 4 times each during the month), bars (for example, there are 4 English-speaking bars within a block or 3: Casa Bar, El Alamo, Temple bar, and Shamrock), cafés (Havanna on the corner Starbucks down the lane) and bakeries (medialunas are everywhere). There are also large grocery stores (Disco and Carrefour) within a short walk, while smaller grocers are just about every block. Shopping. Av Santa Fe is loaded with shops to fit any budget and is one block from the apartment. And just a few blocks north on Rodriguez Peña or Callao and you'll stumble onto the more posh shops. The Ricoleta cemetery is near loads of these shops. transportation. Taxis are easy to catch on the corner across from Havanna. Collectivos down on Santa Fe, and the Subte is an easy walk down Callao (green and red lines). Short taxi ride will get you to Palermo, San Telmo, or Boca. Safety. This is a very safe neighborhood, and really there wasn't a moment we didn't feel completely secure. Eliana and Patrick were great help during check in/out and on the few occasions when we has questions. We loved Buenos Aires and the apartment made seeing and experiencing all of it all the more rewarding. Thank you!"

  • Ideal Choice for exploring Buenos Aires

"My family of 4 felt so lucky to have chosen Juan's apartment as our base for a trip to Argentina. With 2 older kids, it was great to be able to spread out, and for each to have a private room. The space is nicely furnished, with comfortable beds and luxurious bed linens and towels. The AC worked perfectly. The kitchen is well-equipped, though you probably won't find yourself cooking, as there are many excellent options for eating in the neighborhood. (Within walking distance, our favorites for dinner were Melo, and Sirop et Folie; for lunch and breakfast, we loved the Delicious Cafe; and for coffee and medialunas right around the corner, Casa de Gretl.) The location is superb: 2 short blocks to Recoleta Cemetary, which is surrounded by restaurants, shops, etc. There are lovely parks and the art museum just up the stairs past the British Embassy. It was always easy to get a cab by walking one street over, yet our apartment was on a nice calm street. It felt very safe. It was nice to have a week-long base in Buenos Aires, but leave for day trips. One of our favorites was a day playing gaucho at an estancia about an hour from the apartment: Estancia Los Dos Hermanos. So much fun! Tigre also makes a great day trip. Juan, one of the owners, met us on move-in day and was incredibly cordial and helpful. He had excellent advice about everything from where to change money to where to eat and how to visit Tigre. He promptly replied to all our emails, and was really easy to deal with. Thanks Juan!"
