  • Better than advertised

"My husband and I just spent 10 days in this apartment and found it to be even better equipped than we imagined. Marcella, the manager, provided fresh flowers, a bottle of wine, coffee, milk and butter to kickstart our stay, and we bought bread from the French bakery located across the street. The air conditioners kept us comfortable during the hot weather, and the spaciousness of the rooms and the terraces made for a relaxed stay. We brought back a case of wine from Terroir, the friendly wine shop a block away recommended by the owner. Very helpful was a lead on a place to change dollars, a place we visited too often! Though the apartment is not in the middle of the tourist district, few cab rides rarely cost more than 500 pesos (around $4.00 at the current exchange rate), and we rode the subways everywhere with ease. Important to us was the peacefulness of the tree-lined neighborhood. I would highly recommend this apartment!"

  • Who Could Ask For Anything More?!

"My wife and I (both 60) chose this wonderful apartment for our first 3 week long visit to BA. It could not have been a more perfect choice. A recent review by fellow Canadians who stayed 2 months accurately summarizes everything we, too, experienced. First of all, the apartment is in an exceptional location, convenient to all the tourist attractions, most of which are easily reachable by the Subte (an easy 5 blocks away), or the always plentiful taxis in this quiet leafy neighbourhood, which is a small pocket of tranquillity in an otherwise frenetic city. Alternatively, walking near or far is a pleasant experience in an area of BA that never feels unsafe. There is a great bakery for morning pastries or lunchtime snacks directly across the street, and a huge grocery store three easy blocks away. Secondly, for anyone sceptical of on-line images of rental properties, the photos of the apartment are exactly what you get. In fact, the apartment feels more spacious in person than in the pictures. Large clean frig, good gas stove (though the oven is tricky to light), double sink, and a virtually new combination microwave/convection oven. Plus the benefit of a washing machine, which saves time and offers convenience while enjoying a nice glass of Malbec on the spacious terrace nestled in the treetops overlooking the street. Air conditioners (2) work perfectly, though on cooler days, they don't need to operate as a cross draft is possible by opening windows in the kitchen and the bathroom. The queen size bed is very comfortable, and the place is very clean (thank you Vilma). The kitchen is adequately supplied, though serious cooks may wish for a few more items. But in terms of value for money, we suggest it couldn't get any better. And then there is 'amazing' Juan, the best asset of the apartment: ever cheerful, ever-helpful, always just a quick email away. So engaging, friendly, and helpful. He met us upon arrival and friendship was instant, and checked in on us regularly via email to make sure everything was ok. No problems with anything and there is no question that our memories of our excellent vacation have been made more special because of our chosen accommodation."

  • A really nice place

"We had a wonderful time at this beautiful penthouse apartment. There was a lot of space and comfort for two couples. We loved the kitchen and the amazing wrap around balcony. The contemporary furnishings and architecture were perfect. Diego was our savior and was always available with helpful advice and local knowledge. Be sure to bring US cash, because Diego can be very helpful with exchange issues. The neighborhood, Palermo Soho, is the best place to stay in town. It was convenient to the subway (Green line goes straight downtown) and so nice to be in a neighborhood with great restaurants (best steak ever just a few blocks away at Don Julio Parilla!) the neighborhood felt very safe to walk around at night. Be sure to check out the shops and restaurants around El Salvador and Armenia, a short walk away. We can't wait to get back to Buenos Aires and to stay here again!"
