    "Sono stato con mia moglie in questo splendido attico: si tratta indubbiamente di un duplex che toglie il fiato (al 13esimo e 14esimo piano), con accesso diretto in ascensore, con una terrazza enorme con tanto di piscina privata che dà direttamente sulla favolosa spiaggia di Copacabana. Tre camere da letto enormi più un'altra da sogno (la Suite Copacabana) al piano superiore. Servizi igienici, sauna, internet wi-fi gratuito, piscina, immensa doccia "a cupola" in vetro con vista direttamente sul Cristo Redentore, vasca idromassaggio, soggiorno, salotti vari, cucina: insomma, un appartamento a dir poco strepitoso di oltre 1000 m2! Autista e domestica a disposizione in ogni momento! Fantastica anche l'accoglienza e l'accompagnamento durante tutto il nostro soggiorno di Benito: uno spagnolo trapiantato in Brasile che è letteralmente al tuo servizio giorno e notte per consigliarti ristoranti, centri commerciali, itinerari, luoghi da visitare: una vera persona d'oro! I prezzi naturalmente sono alti, ma perfettamente consoni allo standard elevato di questo eccezionale appartamento/attico. La zona, piena di alberghi (anche di lusso, come il Palace) è controllata dalla polizia e quindi si respira aria di tranquillità e sicurezza. Il mare è pulito, la spiaggia è piena di bar/ristoranti e Rio offre una quantità di divertimenti strabiliante. Da non perdere anche una visita (magari ad assistere a una partita) al famoso stadio Maracanà. Per noi è stata un'esperienza indimenticabile; di gran lunga la miglior vacanza di sempre!!!!"

Best Seasons to Visit Florianopolis Vacation Rentals

Florianopolis is the jewel of Brazil’s southern coast. Set a on a beautiful stretch of coastline and incorporating several small islands, the city boasts more than 42 beautiful beaches. For this reason, the most popular travel season is during the warmer summer months which run from November through March or April. Average daytime temperatures are mild and warm at 25 degrees Centigrade, making for ideal beach weather. While rain occurs throughout the year, the most rain falls between January and March. Rain showers are generally quite short-lived and the sunshine soon returns. The driest months are July and August. In the winter months, the temperatures can get quite cold, sometimes dropping close to freezing overnight, with an average high of only around 8 degrees Centigrade during the day.

Things to See and Do near Florianopolis Lodging

The island of Santa Catalina is the main center of Florianopolis. The island has a rich cultural heritage and there are many beautiful architectural sites in the city. Visit buildings that date back to the times of the original Azorean colonialists. The Florianopolis historic center is known as the Largo da Alfandega. Here you can visit museums, beautiful churches and historical houses that are landmarks in the city. In the older parts of the city, strong traditions are still maintained. People have a different way of speaking and doing things, and some still take the time to create handmade crafts which can be purchased as souvenirs.

Florianopolis is possibly most famous for its beaches and excellent surfing conditions. The city hosts one of the most prestigious World Tour Surfing events, and is the only venue in South America to do so. The competition is usually held in Praia Mole which is just two kilometers from the quaint fishing village of Barra da Lagoa. Bara da Lagoa is not very commercialized which is part of its attraction. The area is known as the “Bunny Slope” of surfing as it is the ideal place to learn. The beach stretches for almost 15 kilometers in a cove where turtles and penguins often come to breed. It’s the perfect place to sunbathe or take a long leisurely stroll. Other top surfing beaches include the Campeche Beach which is five kilometers long and has large turbulent waves. Joaquina Beach has been famous as a favorite surf spot since the early 1970s. The beach has excellent tourist facilities with a number of restaurants, shops and beach bars on site. You can also rent beach chairs, umbrellas, surfboards and boogie boards from local vendors.

Florianopolis has long been a favorite vacation destination for Argentinians. With frequent daily flights from Buenos Aires, it is an easily accessible vacation destination. The beaches and great holiday vibe are the city’s biggest draws. In recent years, as Florianopolis becomes more well known, visitors who would traditionally go to Rio de Janeiro are choosing instead to visit the beaches of Florianopolis. Once in the city, you can get around by taxi or bus. The city also has a cycle-friendly policy and bicycles can be hired throughout the city.
