  • Perfect! Major Wow Factor!

"My wife and i joined our daughter, son in law and 3 year old granddaughter for five nights of pure bliss at House of Divine Views. We have traveled the world and this is the most spectacular home we have found. Beautifully furnished with everything one could want, we enjoyed the hot tub, comfy living room, fireplace stocked with plenty of dry wood, the huge back yard and deck and of course the amazing view of Volcan Osorno. The flowers surrounding the home allowed for beautiful bouquets at the dinner table. The kitchen was fully stocked with every appliance, dish, pan and spice we needed to allow us to make delicious meals. The interior furnishings were super comfortable and the interior design was beautiful. The upstairs master bedroom was huge and luxurious. Having a washer-dryer was handy and the wifi worked without a hitch. The location away from town allowed for virtual privacy yet was close enough for access to all of the amazing sites and activities available in the gorgeous Lake District. We took the ski lift up Volcan Osorno for amazing views, made the short drive to Petrohue Falls and Lago Todos de Santos, drove south towards Patagonia for stunning mountain scenery and enjoyed fantastic meals in Puerto Varas. We drove to Chiloe to see the penguins (totally cool) and ate way too much kuchen in Fruitillar! So much to see, not enough time! Our host was a delight to work with. Excellent communication and attention to detail. You simply can't find a more amazing home to stay in to enjoy all this beautiful home and location has to offer. Five nights were not enough! Thank you Marian"

  • So good the first time, we returned!

"This was our second extended stay at the penthouse, and it was just as excellent this year as last. First, the location of the apartment could not be any better. It is located in a great area--lots of shopping and restaurants, while still having a neighborhood feel. It is a 10 minute walk to the subte station at Plaza Italia. The neighborhood has a great energy, while not being as "gritty" as other neighborhoods. I really would not want to stay elsewhere. The apartment itself is terrific--it has everything you need for a terrific short or long stay. We used the kitchen a lot, and had no issues with finding the right tools, etc. The bed is super comfy, and my daughter joined us for a portion of the trip and slept on the futon in the living room. Cable tv, wifi and a computer printer are nice touches. The apartment is super safe--the only apartment on the floor--and quiet. We all slept like babies while there. We've learned to master the washer/dryer, which is different than those in the US, but works great. We pack lightly and have more room for souvenirs! Finally, Thom, Guille and Aldo (airport transfer, if requested) are all amazing. They are responsive, helpful, kind, etc. Our trips would not have been the same without their help. I think of them as our friends now. You will not regret staying here!"

  • Nice Condo, you will not be disappointed!!!

"The owner is an American fella who was easy to work with and had everything ready for us in advance. The view of the old city from the balcony was amazing especially at night. This condo has two great bedrooms with really comfortable beds and top notch linens. As a frequent traveler to Colombia I know how rare that is and it was truly appreciated. I was a bit leery at first about the Palmetto building because I had seen some of the other condos and heard some negative things about the water pressure and pool area but it was a complete non issue for us. The pool area was nice, clean and always had lots of people around enjoying the beautiful weather. If you want to stay in Bocagrande this condo is perfect. The beach is 50 feet outside the front lobby and there are many shops and restaurants directly behind the building. The old city is a 6 minute and $3 taxi ride away."

Brazil Travel Tips

Best Seasons to Visit Brazil Vacation Rentals

Brazil is the largest country in South America. A large portion of it sits within the tropics and enjoys a warm year-round tropical climate. The southern parts are more temperate and can get quite cold in the wintertime. The summer months are from October through May, and winter runs from June through September, although Rio de Janeiro and the Amazon regions rarely get cold. If you are planning a visit to either of these areas, you can choose your own travel season. If you don’t like crowds, you will want to avoid Rio de Janeiro during carnival time which occurs in February each year. Millions of people from around the world flock during this time to see the colorful parades and experience the festive vibe. If you want to explore the southern regions, the best season to travel is during the warmer summer months. You can hire a car to get around and enjoy exploring this lesser-known side of Brazil at leisure.

Getting to Brazil Lodging

The primary airport in Brazil is Garoulos International Airport in Sao Paolo. Most international airlines use this as their point of entry into Brazil and for this reason, it is the busiest airport in South America. From here, you can get connecting flights on to Rio de Janeiro, Brazilia, Manaus and various other destinations in Brazil and South America. There are daily scheduled flights that bring visitors from Europe, North America, South Africa and other South American countries. Be prepared to walk quite a distance from the aircraft through passport control and baggage claim. If you plan to stay in Sao Paolo then arrange for a private transfer from the airport or negotiate a set fare with the taxi driver. Sao Paolo is a city that never sleeps and traffic on the highway getting into the city is congested 24 hours a day. If you take a metered taxi, you may find that you have paid more than you bargained for unless you negotiate ahead of time.

Comfortable Accommodation at Brazil Villas

One of the things that may strike you as you arrive in cities such as Rio de Janeiro and Sao Poalo is the vast number of high-rise buildings. These two cities are among the most populous in the world with the vast number of people living in high-rise buildings. Many of the vacation homes are conveniently located in major tourist areas so visitors have easy access to the attractions. Unless you rent a penthouse suite, the apartments are generally quite compact. They are still functional and comfortably furnished. In general, they can accommodate between two and four adults. For those that have larger budgets, you can consider renting a villa which offers a far more spacious accommodation. Villas are generally available in the smaller towns and seaside resorts.

Rio De Janeiro Vacation Rentals

Rio de Janeiro is one of Brazil’s most popular travel destinations. The world-famous Copacabana Beach, Sugarloaf Mountain and the impressive statue of Christ the Redeemer are all well-known landmarks of the city. Located on the Tropic of Capricorn, Rio enjoys a warm tropical climate. This is one of the reasons it is such a popular vacation destination. Visitors can enjoy the beaches and city sights throughout the entire year. The most popular time to visit Rio is in February when the world-famous Carnival and street parade take place. As with most major cities, accommodations can be expensive. Vacation rentals make sense for people who plan to visit for more than just a few days. They offer more affordable accommodation options.
