  • Perfect Rental

"Arrived on February 12th in the evening. The building is one of the newer buildings in Bocagrande and has amazing views of the ocean. Went through the check-in process without any issue even with the language barrier. The owner provides you with an information package and this information package is very detailed and explains the entire process for getting to the apartment. The apartment is immaculate and can certainly see a pride of ownership attention to detail that the owner has. It is exactly as pictured and advertised. The information package gives details of all of the systems (ie hot water, AC etc) and how to use them. The location is ideal as you are within walking distance if everything you need (grocery store, restaurants etc) or can take one of the many taxis into the old city section for about $3.00 each way. The owner is very quick to respond to questions or inquiries which was a big help as we booked the apartment on short notice and the Internet that is in the apartment is more than suitable for day to day needs (email etc). We would certainly stay in this apartment again and thoroughly enjoyed Cartagena and this apartment."

  • penthouse in Cartagena

"this property was beautiful on the 25th floor with views all around. Well worth your money. Very big enough for 6 people or more. A couple of negative things that would of made our stay perfect if they would be fixed. The entry to lobby was 2 levels of stairs very steep & with suitcases it was hard to maneuver (not good for someone with handicaps) The apartment was not ready at 3pm they did let us put our suitcases in the apartment & gave us the keys but we were not showed how to use everything, therefore we were not told that the showers had some trick to get hot water and we took cold showers for 2 days till we could find Edgar & he told us how to fix that. The windows in the master bedroom do not close completely, therefore the A/C works double time trying to cool the room, we had both A/C and ceiling fan going at the same time to keep the room cool while we slept (this needs to be fixed before the summer starts or it will be unbearable) other than that it was a fantastic stay well worth the cost. We loved the apartment with it's beautiful views."

  • Been here 3 times and will go back again!

"This is my secret gem in Cartagena. I've found this place probably two years ago and immediately fell in-love with it - so much that I just returned and this was my 3rd time staying there. Aracely is very accommodating and responsive. The apartment is extremely comfy, it has a great location, amazing views, the common areas are always clean, the building staff is very friendly and the location is very safe. As I said, I've been there 3 times and its great to see that every time I arrive to this place I see some new improvements to make our stay better and better. Great place to stay! I will give them more than 5 stars!"

  • Beautiful Apartment- Great owner - Great manager - Busy street

"This apartment was beautifully done- photos were accurate. It was also outfitted well- everything you would need in the kitchen. I am always very appreciative when the owners make sure there are some basics in the apartment, so you don't need to stock up on things like sugar and salt and dishwashing soap for just a few days. Very considerate! The owner also gives you complete access to the laundry room, so if you need more sheets or towels, or even to wash your clothes- everything is there. The manager, Henry is great- is on top of all problems and tries his best to get them solved quickly as they arise ( as in loss of power or internet). He even managed to get us a reservation to a restaurant we had been unsuccessful in securing. The owner was great to work with. When we did end up having a few problems (that were completely out of her control) she did her best to try to solve, and then ultimately to make it up to us. My only warning (which I shared with the owner) is that this is a VERY busy street, congested with a relentless ribbon of people. The adorable colonial balcony that is shown in the photos was impossible for us to use to sit out there because the retail stores below (discount stores) blasted their sound systems from 9:00 am-9:00 PM. So- if you really like being in the center of it all, you will love this apartment, but if you prefer your people watching to be a little more serene, you might want to try a different section of town. I will say- it is in the heart of things, but know what you're seeking."
