"El apartamento tiene a su alrededor un bello paisaje compuesto no solo con vista a una piscina, sino al mar y un contraste con un pueblo de pescadores, lo que hace refrescar visualmente en los dos entornos. Es decir que la ubicación esquinera del apartamento cubre todos esos entornos .Al tener los servicios de restaurante, cajero, exito expres cerca, no es necesrio desplazarse a otros sitios. El apartamento es muy amplio y muy acogedor."

  • Unique combination of old & new

"This studio apartment owned by the hotel & offers the best of both worlds. The apartment is a large 12th floor studio (living room with sleeping alcove, full kitchen, washer, large bathroom, huge balcony) in a luxury doorman building in the adjacent neighborhood of Manga. The apartment provides great amenities (amazing views of the city & bay, rooftop infinity lap pool, gym, much more space than a standard hotel room) with the added convenience of hotel services (daily breakfast & happy hour at the hotel - we went about 1/2 of the time, plus concierge services). The drawback is the distance: it's a 10 minute walk to the main gate of the old city & another 5-10 minutes to the hotel. For us, it turned out to be a nice surprise. We had a chance to explore the charming Getsemani neighborhood (which is technically still part of the old city I think), which is has many wonderful restaurants & not as aggressively touristy (or as expensive) as within the walled city. We had several dinners that were MUCH less expensive & way more enjoyable than our dinner at La Vitrola. Taxis are also plentiful & cheap (between 5,000 & 8,000) when we didn't feel like walking. Service at the hotel was warm & accommodating. They even called us at the apartment to make sure that we didn't have additional questions. Would highly recommend. Photos are exactly as the apartment looks & it is well stocked (lots of linens, kitchenware, etc.)."

  • Nice Condo, you will not be disappointed!!!

"The owner is an American fella who was easy to work with and had everything ready for us in advance. The view of the old city from the balcony was amazing especially at night. This condo has two great bedrooms with really comfortable beds and top notch linens. As a frequent traveler to Colombia I know how rare that is and it was truly appreciated. I was a bit leery at first about the Palmetto building because I had seen some of the other condos and heard some negative things about the water pressure and pool area but it was a complete non issue for us. The pool area was nice, clean and always had lots of people around enjoying the beautiful weather. If you want to stay in Bocagrande this condo is perfect. The beach is 50 feet outside the front lobby and there are many shops and restaurants directly behind the building. The old city is a 6 minute and $3 taxi ride away."

  • Loved it!

"The property was exactly what others have described: immaculate, tastefully decorated, comfortable, quiet, and secure. The staff- from the doorman to the maid were accommodating and friendly. The location of the apartment was perfect to explore the old city. Walking was our favorite mode of transportation-site-seeing, dining, and shopping all easily accessible. The airport and other parts of the city were just a short cab ride. The owner was easy to work with and available during our 5 day stay. The rooftop pool was a welcome addition-especially after a hot day of exploring!"
