  • Great place, great value

"The penthouse is a great place to rent for families or couples. I had my teenage and older children. Everyone loved the huge deck and the views of Medellin. The pool table was a nice bonus. All the rooms are large, well appointed and each has it's own nice bathroom. Tons of space, great location, nice owner. This was the best place we stayed at on our trip and would recommend it to anyone with a large group wanting to spend a few days in Medellin."

  • Spectacular Penthouse Apartment!

"A luxurious, well-situated, clean and secure apartment with panoramic views. Close to all amenities and with just a small 4-lane road between its main entrance and a clean stretch of beach with great swimming conditions. Excellent and responsive communications with the property owner - Igacio. And, great housekeeping from Almafi. Highly recommended!"

  • Excellent Apartment Across the street from Beach!!!

"This apartment was a life saver for us. It was in the heart of everything and next door to a 5 star hotel. Sonja was so nice and accommodating. She made recommendations local attractions. The one area for improvement but not to be taken negative is that some of the windows are the old fashion jealousy windows and it would waste a lot of the AC so during the day it was a little hot but at night it was nice a cool! I wanted her two bedroom listing but since it was already taken she had this available for several days which was in a great location, friendly neighbors and a nice pool. She had her assistant thoroughly clean the apartment prior to our arrival and the accommodations were perfect even though we had 5 of us sleeping in the apartment. We are going to miss the gas stove because it also worked very well for frying our plantains."

  • Beautiful Apartment- Great owner - Great manager - Busy street

"This apartment was beautifully done- photos were accurate. It was also outfitted well- everything you would need in the kitchen. I am always very appreciative when the owners make sure there are some basics in the apartment, so you don't need to stock up on things like sugar and salt and dishwashing soap for just a few days. Very considerate! The owner also gives you complete access to the laundry room, so if you need more sheets or towels, or even to wash your clothes- everything is there. The manager, Henry is great- is on top of all problems and tries his best to get them solved quickly as they arise ( as in loss of power or internet). He even managed to get us a reservation to a restaurant we had been unsuccessful in securing. The owner was great to work with. When we did end up having a few problems (that were completely out of her control) she did her best to try to solve, and then ultimately to make it up to us. My only warning (which I shared with the owner) is that this is a VERY busy street, congested with a relentless ribbon of people. The adorable colonial balcony that is shown in the photos was impossible for us to use to sit out there because the retail stores below (discount stores) blasted their sound systems from 9:00 am-9:00 PM. So- if you really like being in the center of it all, you will love this apartment, but if you prefer your people watching to be a little more serene, you might want to try a different section of town. I will say- it is in the heart of things, but know what you're seeking."
