  • Stylish art home in vibrant Buenos Aires Palermo

"We (two couples) stayed at Casa Palermo for 5 nights. So happy with the location, the home in general and the owner. They were amazing prior arrival with so many helpful hints and " walked us thru everything" ( survival guide) The information we received before and the transportation was helpful. Well maintained apartment in we enjoyed the patio in the morning and the stars from the rooftop at night. Clean, great value and we felt very secure. The Italian bacery closed by offered the best pastries. Always would recommend to stay at Casa Palermo when traveling to BA!!"

  • The Best Place, The Best Location, The Best Price

"Two friends and I went to live there for a month because we went to take a summer course in Argentina. I know most people don't believe in this reviews, but I'll try to state my own experiences in here so you can see that we did in fact stayed in there and loved it. THE OWNERS First of all, Ale and Fede are really great hosts; Fede even showed us how to really cook an Argentina steak in the rooftop. THE HOUSE The place is gigantic (even larger that it even looks on pictures). It has one large living room with a super confortable sofa; a very large dining room were you could invite several guests. The two rooms are very spacious, each with its own closet. The kitchen has everything you need; the refrigerator has several magnetics of delivery places if you don't want to cook that day. There is even a small study room if you want to go read there. But the PERFECT place in the house is the rooftop. It is a very spacious place where you can cook in the grill that is in there and eat in the table that is set up in there gazing at the sunset or even the stars. There is a girl which does the cleaning every know and then, so you don't have to worry about this or about here (she was super friendly, gave us tips on our stay, and both Fede and Ale trust her). Take into account that the apartment is in the second floor to which there are several stairs. Also, within the apartment/house there are many other stairs, so it might not be the best place for someone with a disability or an elder person. THE ZONE The house is set in Palermo Hollywood, which might not be as fancy as Palermo SoHo, nor are there many boutique stores to do your shopping. However, you won't be needing any of that. If you are looking for a cozy zone where you can find a convenient store, supermarket (both large and small), a small bar, a thousand restaurants literally just a block away, this is the place for you. Simultaneously, if you are looking to go out and have a good time, most of the small but important clubs are approximately 3 blocks away from you, and several others are just a walk away; we had a great experience going there and then walking back to the house, almost never using taxi. You can walk to most places from the house. There was a construction when we went there which was the only inconvenience because of some noises and the workers, but nothing that could affect our stay in there. I really recommend this place. It is way better than it advertises for."

  • A really nice place

"We had a wonderful time at this beautiful penthouse apartment. There was a lot of space and comfort for two couples. We loved the kitchen and the amazing wrap around balcony. The contemporary furnishings and architecture were perfect. Diego was our savior and was always available with helpful advice and local knowledge. Be sure to bring US cash, because Diego can be very helpful with exchange issues. The neighborhood, Palermo Soho, is the best place to stay in town. It was convenient to the subway (Green line goes straight downtown) and so nice to be in a neighborhood with great restaurants (best steak ever just a few blocks away at Don Julio Parilla!) the neighborhood felt very safe to walk around at night. Be sure to check out the shops and restaurants around El Salvador and Armenia, a short walk away. We can't wait to get back to Buenos Aires and to stay here again!"

  • 100% happy

"This was the second time I stayed at this amazing apartment. It has become our home when visiting Rio. Perfectly located on a quiet and safe street, in the beautiful neighbourhood of Ipanema, it only takes a few minutes to walk to the beach, grocery store or restaurants. The apartment is spacious, clean and has the most spectacular view of Ipanema. You will never tire of it. I wouldn't hesitate recommending either of their apartments (have stayed in both). The owners and local hosts are wonderful to deal with. Very trustworthy and helpful."

Colombia Travel Tips

Attractions and Activities near Colombia Vacation Rentals

There are many cultural attractions, museums, historic buildings and cultural festivals that make Columbia an attractive destination to visit. Because of its location, Columbia has had many cultural influences, including Indian, Spanish and African influences. This is evident as you explore the many historic sites of the area.

Columbia is considered by many to be an adventure mecca. There is whitewater rafting, jungle trekking, horseback riding, and a variety of extreme sports available. The Pacific coastline is a favorite place for whale watching. Visitors can experience nature and wildlife tours in the Amazon jungle with experienced guides. The beaches are places where you can relax and simply enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings as you soak up the sun.

Colombia Travel Tips

For many years, travelers were warned of visiting Colombia because of the political factions that were regarded as dangerous. In the past decade though, the government has taken strong measures to improve security in order to attract more foreign tourists. Tourist numbers have increases significantly and many travel magazines rate Columbia as top travel destination because of the diverse landscapes and many natural and cultural attractions. It is nevertheless still a destination where you need to be street smart. Don’t leave baggage unattended and don’t walk around the city on your own at night. Take a taxi and have a map or guide book with you so you know where you are going. Don’t display expensive jewelry or cameras when you are walking around. On the plus side, you will be able to find colorful souvenirs to take home and be able to sample what is arguably the world’s best coffee. No doubt you will want to take some home with you but be aware of customs allowances.

Finding Your Way to Colombia Vacation Apartments

The primary airport in Colombia is the El Dorado International Airport in Bogota. The airport is a relatively modern structure and hosts a number of local, regional and international airlines. There are relatively frequent commercial flights to North America. The closest U.S. city is Miami which is a three- to four-hour flight away. New York City is four to five hours away by plane and Los Angeles is eight to nine hours away by plane. For travelers from Europe, there are regularly scheduled commercial flights from both Paris and Madrid. People traveling from other parts of the world can route via any of these hubs or major cities in South America, such as Sao Paolo or Buenos Aires. El Dorado’s central location in the region makes it one of the busiest airports in South America in terms of transporting both passengers and cargo. If you are traveling to another destination in Colombia, it is best to fly. While there are good road links, traveling times can be long because of the many mountain passes that need to be navigated.

Cartagena Vacation Rentals in Colombia
