  • Awesome Home

"This home has everything a family could want plus Bobby is a wonderful host who takes very good care of his guests. This home is perfectly situated away from the confines of the big city, but only a few minutes away from all the amenities such as shopping, para-sailing and zip lining. So close to the beach and the view from the balconies are spectacular. Anyone having doubts about visiting Ecuador should definitely rethink their decision. I cannot think of a more perfect home or place for a family to stay. My family, including the kids want to come back here soon since this has turned out to be one of our best family vacations. We have experienced so much fun here it is hard to leave. Grab your family, rent this house and experience the vacation of a lifetime."

  • Los Suenos -- awesome!

"Our summer trip to Ecuador was fantastic! We got to take our 12 yrs. olds twins on an exciting journey to this beautiful country. Most of all, we got to experience the culture, the foodie, and met some of the friendliest people from different regions (e.g...Quito, Banos, Cotopaxi, Tena, Cuenca & Montanita & etc). The last part of our trip was in Montanita, we stayed at the lovely Los Suenos. This place is the perfect getaway from the big cities, traffic, noise...just awesome relaxation. Each night, as we slept, our windows were opened so we can hear the ocean wave crashing against the rocks. We enjoyed Los Suenos so much, we extended our stay for two extra nights. Shell & Marsha's great hospitality made us feel welcome. Most of all, Chaco, (chocolate lab) loved playing fetch the ball with my kids daily. :-) Shell & Marsha provided helpful information in getting us around to see whale watching, taking surf lessons, historic sites, museums and visited other towns nearby as well. Most definitely, I would highly recommend this place for all ages. My kiddos misses Chaco so much, they're planning to come back for spring break 2015 (or the near future). ;-)) We will be back someday soon. THANK YOU Los Suenos for making our summer vacay memorable and FUN!"

  • "Great Vacation" !!!

"We just returned from Bob and Roxanne's beautiful home, where we spent 9 days and had one of the best vacations we have ever had. Our host were so nice and accommodating in every way. It was so nice to have someone to assist us with our trip from beginning to end ... which included our taxi driver who picked us up in Guayaquil and took us to the grocery store to get all the supplies we needed, and assisted us on several tours we took ... for sure use him ! The facilities are very nice and the location on the beach is perfect, and close to many restaurants. The beach is both beautiful and very private for long walks. There are many things to do there, or just do nothing in a great setting. If you are going to the beach in Ecuador ... "this is the place to be" !!! Thanks again to our new friends Bob & Roxanne ! Safe travels."

  • Nice place, friendly owners & staff

"My boyfriend and I stayed here for 19 days. It's a really huge space for just 2 people! The owners & staff were very friendly, but the staff did not speak English and the owner wasn't always around (we didn't expect him to be), so communication was hard sometimes since we knew only a little Spanish. Sometimes we thought they said they were coming to clean on a certain day, but then they came a couple days later instead, so we weren't sure if that was a communication issue, or if they changed their plans without telling us. (Not a big deal though; they cleaned often enough.) The only minor complaints were that they didn't have screens in the windows, so bugs would get in if we wanted to open them to get some breeze. There is AC though. The kitchen had just about everything we could have wanted, but no measuring cups, except for cup with the rice cooker. The electricity went out 3 or 4 times while we were there, which also shut off the water. It usually came on again after a couple hours or less."
