"Very convenient location near the old city attractions and within walking distance of site seeing, grocery shopping, and numerous dining options. If you have a car, they have secure free parking. Otherwise, Quito taxis are the least expensive I have ever seen in a major city. For example, it is only three or five dollars around downtown and only $30 to the airport which is 45 minutes to an hour away. The owners are wonderful hosts, and provided us a 3-hour English walking tour of the old city for a very reasonable price. The apartment had everything we needed, the beds were very comfortable, and the apartment complex had its own security guard. We highly recommend this apartment."

"I can't say enough about our stay in Quito at this comfortable and conveniently located apartment. Clemencia was very responsive and helpful throughout the booking process and also when our flight was delayed due to the weather in the Northeast. When we did finally arrive, we were greeted at the airport by Javier, who helped us to get situated in Quito. Especially nice was that he took us to the grocery store and helped us pick up some essentials before arriving at the apartment. It was lovely to be greeted by such a kind and friendly person after our long flight!
The apartment provided us with more than enough room for our group of 5. We loved waking up in the morning and sipping our coffee while looking out at the incredible view of Quito and the volcano towering over the city. Bellavista is a great neighborhood, very safe, with everything you need within walking distance. If you want to venture out beyond the immediate neighborhood (and of course you will) it is very easy and affordable to get around Quito using public transportation - there is a stop right at the bottom of the hill. I would also add that we had no problems whatsoever with the water pressure, as another commenter noted. The only suggestion I could give to improve the experience might be to have a folder or notebook with some local suggestions - for example the best and closest restaurants, the nearest pharmacies and grocery stores, the owners favorite sites in Quito, etc... I certainly wouldn't hesitate to stay at Clemencia's apartment again, and I do plan on returning to Quito sooner rather than later. We had a wonderful stay."

"This house has a definite charm, is comfortable and the gardens are + whole property is perfect for a family with young kids as ours. The house is South of Quito so perfect for southern escapes. Travelling around town and north is harder but no location can have it all. The neighbourhood centro and close by family park are perfect for a rest day. Vicky was very kind and helpful. The house is fully equipped. Truly happy I found this place!"

"Francisco and his wife are extremely welcoming and always helped us out when needed.
The place was clean when we arrived and we did have an issue with turning on our showers. However, Francisco came after one phone call and help us out.
You are given a set of keys to enter the building along with 3 more locks on the doors. We felt very comfortable and safe.
The dryer and washer worked perfectly.
