  • The place in Patagonia

"We had a great time with the family. You are renting a farm, not only a house... You will even have dogs..hourses... The view from the bedroom is unique..waking up every day was like starting a dream..Not modern but just what you need there..a cozy place. There is a grocery store 3 blocks from the house. No cell phone signal..out of the noises of the city. Estela will help you with everything you need there... I can not wait to come back..."

  • Perfect Location

"Stayed here with my family and a traveling nanny and couldn't have been happier. I felt completely safe with Jorge. It was so comforting having him in location. He made sure to go out of his way several times and would walk my wife to the store or he ATM if she couldn't find it and I wasn't around. The house is perfect. The pool on the roof is cool and absolutely necessary. We would all walk around and in Cartagena it's just so hot. We needed that dip in the pool when we got back. I would absolutely recommend hiring Billie. Her food was perfect and breakfast every day was perfect. I think this location just can't be beat. The best bar in all of Cartagena is just two doors down. The best ice cream in Cartagena is next door and you can always find it because of the church square. We will be back."

  • Nice Retreat with Superb Views

"My husband, 2 nephews, and I recently rented this property from Deborah. From the start, Deborah was helpful and quickly responded to each and every e-mail correspondence. She offered helpful information about the area and was welcoming upon arrival. We all thought the backyard was the best feature of the house. The views from atop the hill down to Ponta Negra were amazing! We attended 2 matches of World Cup and I was thankful Deborah didn't jack up the price of the property to unreasonable amounts like every other place I contacted. I booked this property specifically for that reason. I didn't realize how far from Rio we actually were but we managed to make the drive work. The property is actually centrally located between Rio and the beautiful beaches of Buzios. Even though the distances are short, it takes a while to get anywhere when driving. A lot of speed bumps and speed traps! The 3 bedroom house was maintained and adequate for our needs. The free WiFi worked well and was a great feature for the boys. We had to get used to the electric heated water for the showers. Sometimes the boys ended up with cold showers. The mosquitos were really bad too. Make sure you bring spray. Deborah provided us with some too. All in all a good stay. Would stay again and would recommend this property if ever in Ponta Negra again. Thanks Deborah and Renee. And yes, we all enjoyed the new restaurant in town. In fact we ate lunch there twice. Thanks for the suggestion."

  • Character in historic barrio

"This apartment is a nice way to experience living inside a typical San Telmo conventillo, with several lovely, wide doorways, high ceilings, a wrought iron balcony, and a number of modern updates. The pictures are accurate. The kitchen is adequately equipped for basic meal preparation; very nice to have a clothes washer; we especially liked the unique clothes drier. With selective use of the shutters and cross ventilation, we needed the air conditioning only when temperatures exceeded 30 Celcius. Over our two week stay, our sleep was disrupted on three nights by loud music and people noise. Rush hours traffic noise was daily from 4:30 to 7:00PM. The information binder was an excellent reference! Both the owner and her manager were very responsive to our inquiries and concerns. San Telmo is an interesting spot to get immersed in!"
