"We stayed here before and after our land trip to Galapagos. The location is superb within walking distance to restaurants and night clubs. Less than 15 minutes walk to Artesanal Mercado and Mariscal district. About 2 dollars taxi to old town Quito and and Iñaquito Market. The apartment is nicely furnished. 24 hours security. Martha is a lovely lady. On a side note: We were supposed to travel to Quito and the Galapagos in 2013. Didn't know that Ecuador requires Passport to be valid for at least 6 months before they let you in the country. Had to cancel the trip at the last minutes. Rocio refunded our money even though she was not required to do so. Thanks Rocio!"Guest: finecognac Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: September 5, 2014View listing

"Our family stayed at Maria and Ken's apartment in November 2013 and it was perfect for us! The apartment is in great location right in the heart of colonial Quito. It really is the perfect base for exploring this beautiful historical city. The apartment is beautiful - the space is very well planned, and very comfortably furnished and decorated. Traveling with kids, the kitchen and washing machine were really important to us! The kitchen had everything we needed, and there is a grocery store about 2 blocks away, which was great! Of course, there are also great restaurants nearby, so you certainly don't have to cook if you don't want to. The building was very secure, with very helpful guards on duty 24 hours/day. The guards can help you call a taxi - when our taxi didn't arrive, the guard helped us get another ride to the airport in the morning which was great!"Guest: Kirsten B. "This fantastic condo in beautiful Quito greatly surpassed our expectations. The condo was very spacious and modern. It offered full amenities, including washer/dryer, full kitchen, spacious living and eating areas, bathrooms, bedrooms and wifi. The rooftop terrace had beautiful views of Quito. We enjoyed the abundant amount of hot water for showers. We also enjoyed the use of an underground parking spot for our rental vehicle, which we used to go to the Equator, Otavalho and other sightseeing excursions. We felt very safe as there is 24-hour security inside the entrance to the building. We celebrated our daughter and son-in-law's wedding in Quito, and this location was close to the Registry Office. It will always hold many special memories for us. It was so handy to be around the corner from the Megamaxi Supermarket, down the street from the Quiocentro Mall and very close to numerous restaurants, around the corner from the Movie Theatre and from Carolina Park. We were very happy with how accommodating Edgar was about our late arrival and later checkout, as we had a very late flight from the airport. We wish to thank Edgar and Mercedes for allowing us to rent their beautiful condo. Thank you also for all the helpful information you provided. We would definitely recommend your condo to everyone. We would give it 10 stars if we could."Guest: Happy Parents Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 19, 2014View listing
