"The apartment is very large, clean and secure. It was nicer than the pictures could possibly show. It was nice being out of the busy Kennedy Park area yet only a short cab ride away. The most I paid was 7 Soles. The internet was reliable for my stay and the MagicJack was a real bonus. The view of the ocean every night from the balcony after dinner was priceless. Leo was very easy to deal with and gave me plenty of suggestions as to where to eat, shop and visit. I would highly recommend renting this apartment from Leo and Mercedes."

"The apartment is excellent. It was exactly as described on the page. the location is the best. You can’t hardly hear any noise from the streets. there is a supermarket 5 minute walk from this place and multiple options to eat out within 10 minute walk. the owner was very helpful and was waiting for us on time. she also came very early in the morning to pick up the keys as requested. the building staff was also very friendly and good. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody staying in Lima!"

"Villa Runa was our home base for over a month while we rested, relaxed & adventured throughout Peru.
From the onset we were met in Cusco after a long 30+ hour travel day and chauffeured to our little slice of of heaven in Urubamba, Villa Runa. We were met by the caretaker, gardener & handyman who quickly took all 8 of our bags to the Villa. We were pleasantly surprised that our Villa included daily maid service & continental breakfast. Breakfast was waiting for us as we arrived. WOW!
Coming from sea level we had a bit of a challenge but Lucia had tea for us daily & this seemed to help, that & not trying to do too much the first few days.
This Villa is perfectly located in the heart of the Sacred Valley & it would be easy for people to take day trips, Via taxi or by rental car.
From time time to time, like with any long term rental, something would go wrong, like the kids would stop up a toilet or a sink needed attention, the maintenance crew was on it & seemed capable of handling anything.
The staff made sure we were stocked with firewood, at an additional cost & wanted for nothing. My mother-in-law fell in love with the Quinoa pancakes and actually spent time with Lucia discovering the recipe.
The home sits down a long narrow dirt road (very unassuming) in a gated community surrounded by other villas owned by various owners, it is nestled in at the base of one of the many awe-inspiring mountains. Surrounded by Ucalyptus trees, lush flower gardens & organic vegetables, it is hard to imagine a more beautiful setting.
Due to the altitude & climate, the home can get cold so dress appropriately but the nightly fires made all your troubles drift away as our family shared stories & played games reliving the days adventure.
Viviana, her staff were so helpful as we searched for one thing after another. From local markets, favorite restaurants to in service massage, this was a perfect vacation in a perfect location.
Thank you very much!"

"Our family of 6 had the pleasure of staying in this spacious home for 5 days while touring the beautiful Sacred Valley. Cathy, the owner, was very helpful in planning the details leading up to our trip. Her friend and tour guide, Isaias, became like part of our family. I highly recommend using him to see the Sacred Valley through the eyes of a long time resident. Isaias' passion and enthusiasm for his country allowed us to learn about the history and culture of this fabulous country in a way that would not otherwise have been possible.
The house is located in Urubamba, within walking distance to the market and restaurants. We felt at home and safe the entire time. Zarela, the caretaker on site, made us 2 wonderful meals for a minimal charge. Her daughters were precious and our kids enjoyed playing with them in the lovely yard. Thank you to Cathy and Isaias for making this such a memorable trip for our family."
