  • perfect paradise

"We had a wonderful holiday and the most comfortable stay! The house is just the right size for our family of 7. Outstanding views and close to town. Lucy and Ignacio went above and beyond to make our holiday relaxing and effortless. Truly a perfect paradise!! We can't wait to go back Thank you again!! Susan, Ari and kids"

  • fun and friendly

"The owner and partner were friendly, helpful, and showed me around the area. Since I was here in Sept. it was a bit cold but was good biking and walking weather. The place is quaint, the grounds lovely and if a bit warmer would have had a fire at the fire pit. Kitchen is not for gourmet cooking but quite functional. The town was mostly closed up except for the little marketing town- great people and great sausages to be found there- made as I was standing there! Ocean to cold to go in at this time of year. The thought of staying for a week in containers was odd but they turned out to be very comfortable. Alex is great and her kids even gave me a kiss hello.... Recommended....."

  • A wonderful place!

"We have had some wonderful days in Jose Ignacio! The house really exceeded our high expectations. The things that I appreciated most were the peaceful location, the beautiful views and the high and modern standard of the house. Also, the kids were very happy with the garden, the pool and the ping-pong table. I highly recommend this beautiful place!"

  • Subtly Brilliant

"When you first arrive and walk through the well maintained lawn you think 'this is rather pleasant' as you would if you were staying in a cottage in the Cotswolds: but beyond the initial quaintness of the entrance lies something quite breathtaking. There is a small swimming pool which is great to cool down with a drink in your hand but not big enough to entice you away from the wonderful sea in front. There is a large, white cushioned seating area outside by the pool that can host easily more than 10 guests and is partially in the shade for those that like to stay cool. The walk inside the building takes a different form that belies the impression from the outside. The outside area in a way becomes the inside area in that the ambience created by the sand-stone walls and floor makes you feel that you are living in the landscape in front of you. The living area houses an enormous dining table surrounded by luxurious cushions that seat you. To the right of the dining table is an elevated seating area that on one side is decorated by a large book shelf. In front of the elevated seating area and dining table is a very wide, sliding glass wall that gives uninterrupted views of the sand dunes, beach and glorious sea. On some days the vista can be different if the winds whip up the dunes to another formation. The rest of the property has twists and turns akin to a rabbits warren, cleverly designed so that all bedrooms have a sea view. Each room is very independent with their own bathrooms. The kitchen looks outstanding although the service from the kitchen staff is so professional that visits to this area are not essential unless you like raiding the fridge in the middle of the night. Every detail in the house has been thought of and although the appearance is simple, all the materials from linens to tableware are of the most luxurious quality. Kids and adults at night or on a rainy afternoon can enjoy pulling over the cinema screen sized curtain to watch a movie on the projector or fun stuff using the computer to a very large projection. This place would be enjoyed, I think, by those who appreciate architecture, art, comfort, fun, good taste, convenience, location, good design and great service."
