  • The Perfect Place to Stay in Buenos Aires

"My wife and I, and our son and his wife, stayed at Aire Serrano for a full week. Often when renting a place on-line there is a tiny bit of trepidation when you first arrive and get your initial glimpse of the property. In this case our first reaction was WOW! The apartment was incredible and as advertised (even better actually). It is not easy to find an apartment that has 2 large bedrooms with in-suite bathrooms and to also have them on separate floors but this one sure did. Both bedrooms were terrific and the master bedroom upstairs has an amazing outdoor deck attached to it with lights, a fountain and a table large enough to comfortably sit 4 people for breakfast or an early evening drink. What made the place even better was the location. it was situated 1 block from Plaza Serrano and every street in multiple directions was filled with restaurants, bars, boutiques that were all unique. We were also easily able to walk to Plaza Italia when we needed to take the subte (a lovely 20 minute stroll). To top it all off Martin was a pleasure to work with on anything that came up. He always made us feel as if he could and would help us with any question or issue we might have. We can't wait to stay there again and to send friends to Aire Serrano as well."

  • Beautiful, comfortable and ideal

"The studio apartment is exactly as advertised - beautiful! I was met by Martin the Property Manager. He went over all of the features of the apartment and gave me lots of helpful tips on Buenos Aires. The room darkening shades were certainly needed and appreciated from all of the great BA sun. Super convenient that there is a little mini market right next to the building - no fresh fruit or veggies though. For that you'll have to walk a block or two. This is the ideal location for a visit to BA. It's on a quiet street but within blocks of more of the Palermo action. It's a very safe and convenient apartment and building in a great neighbourhood."

Venezuela Travel Tips

Getting to Venezuela Vacation Rentals

Venezuela is well connected to the rest of the world. The main airport, Simon Bolivar National Terminal, is located just outside of the capital city of Caracus. Airlines from South America, Central America, Europe and North America have regularly scheduled commercial flights to Caracus. Caracus is often a stopover point for travelers to the southern Caribbean islands and there are frequent commercial connections to these countries. In the city of Caracus, there is a good subway and public transportation system. It runs daily, even on weekends and public holidays, from early in the morning until late at night. This is the most convenient and affordable way to travel around the city. You can also use the local taxi service; however, you may need to negotiate your fare before departing as not all taxis are metered.

Best Time of Year to Travel to Venezuela Condos

While the landscape is quite varied in Venezuela, the climate and weather are fairly consistent throughout the region. The only exception is the Andean region which is at a much higher altitude than the rest of the country and therefore has cooler temperatures. For the most part, the climate is subtropical with two distinct seasons -- wet and dry. The wet season runs from May to November and is characterized by heavy rain showers that build and dissipate quickly. Even in the rainy season, you can enjoy warm sunshine most of the time. The dry season runs from December to April. This is typically the peak holiday season for travelers; however, Venezuelan weather is so mild comparatively that it can be classified as a year-round vacation destination.

Visitors to Venezuela Beach Houses

Venezuela has one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in South America. When you see pictures or postcards, it is not uncommon to mistake it for one of the Caribbean islands. Long stretches of sandy white beaches, palm trees and lush tropical forests combine with turquoise blue waters to make it an ideal beach vacation. Venezuela has some excellent coral reefs and divers from all over the world are attracted to its dive sites. The capital city of Caracus is known for its vibrant nightlife and party-goers can enjoy the Latin vibe. Outdoor adventurers will find many activities in the Andean region to enjoy. There are trekking, climbing and zip lining opportunities as well as nature walks and mountain biking trails to explore. Venezuela is a great destination for the more adventurous traveler, particularly someone who enjoys exploring foreign cultures and the outdoors.

Things to See and Do in Venezuela

The western part of the country is dominated by the towering peaks of the Andes Mountain Range. It is a great place for mountaineers that want to take on the challenging peaks. The historic city of Merida lies nestled in the foothills. It has a distinctive bohemian atmosphere, and is home to a university and South America's second oldest school.

The Northeastern region is the prime tourist region. It is home to some of the country's most beautiful beaches. The Mochima National Park is a marine and shoreline reserve that has some of the most pristine coral reefs in the Caribbean. Cumana is the main city in this region and claimed to be Venezuela's oldest city.

The Guayana Highlands are located in the southeastern part of Venezuela. It is here that you will find Venezuela's most famous natural landmark, the Angel Falls. This towering waterfall has the claim of being the world's tallest single waterfall. It is set among a unique landscape of huge sandstone mesas that right up thousands of feet above the surrounding grasslands.

The Amazonas region is part of the Amazon River basin. The area is not easily accessible and can only really be visited with guided tours. There are some indigenous cultures which remain true to their traditions. The wildlife viewing is also incredible.
