  • Our Summer Vacation

"We are arrived at the car rental (Thrifty) across the street from airport and Jordi met us there. Please be sure to mention that you are staying with Anis and if they have an upgrade they will upgrade. We enjoyed having our own car so we could make our eating and shopping trips. Anis was always a phone call away and ready to answer any questions. When we arrived at the condo – it was clean, spacious and very accommodating. I have 3 teenagers and 2 shared the bedroom with bunk beds and the other had a bedroom to herself. The master bedroom was spacious and comfortable. The ocean is just outside the condo – with a pool and ocean front access. We snorkeled almost every day. Anis has snorkeling gear in condo – I brought 2 sets just in case – Anis said to just have Jordi get anything that was missing or needed. We made our own breakfast most mornings and had lunch or dinner in town or at a restaurant near the beach. There are 2 main grocery stores on the island: MEGA and Chedrai – there is also a Sam’s Club on the northwest end of the island. We did not make it to Sam’s Club while in Cozumel. Some of the places we ate – Moneybar (kind of pricy), Tortuga’s (very good Yucatan Style food and moderately priced – fed the family for ~$50 with apetizers) – Camilo’s (moderately priced just 1 block north from main plaza downtown – fried seafood – shrimp tacos and shrimp tortas were very good) – Al Pie del Carbon (Surf & Turf on a wood burning Grill – excellent food and service) – Alejandro’s (on the beach just south of condo – very good and fresh seafood – specialty is lobster) – Mezcalito’s on the east side of the island has excellent food. The condo was great – large flat screen in living room – we watched a lot of movies on CD – great time to spend as a family after a long day. We are now starting to plan our next trip – Highly recommend the condo – We all love it -"

  • Tranquility!

"My wife and I were looking for a short break from a working trip to Sydney from the USA. This apartment was fantastic - in a super quiet location in Palm Cove, and within easy reach of all the local sights! The apartment itself was immaculately clean and organized for our arrival, we simply picked up the key at the front desk of Mango Lagoon. The photos on the website show the property well. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you might need and we were pleasantly surprised by the size of the apartment. There is a very efficient, quiet AC unit in both the bedroom and the living room, but with the breeze wafting through we didn't need to use it that much. A washer/dryer in the master bathroom was essential since we were on a 3 week trip. Palm Cove is well located for exploring Port Douglas, the Great Barrier Reef and Kuranda. We took the chance to visit all three. Internet reception was a little patchy in the apartment itself, but if its absolutely essential there is a good strong signal available in the entrance area to Mango Lagoon, just about 50 yards away. We would absolutely stay here again - it exceeded our expectations in almost every way!"
