"This is an exceptional rental with stunning views. We have rented many homes and this far exceeded the pictures. It has gorgeous views of the water. It's quiet with a huge terrace. Inside the decor and the design and the size of the rooms are excellent. there's lots of space and closets. The 2 bathrooms are large and everything is modern, up-to-date and very clean. The owner supplies everything you need for a comfortable stay (washer, dryer and dishwasher). Although the villa is up high, it's very close to beaches and restaurants. If you don't have a car, many of the restaurants will pick you up and drive you home. The owner is very helpful and offered many good tips. We wish we could have stayed longer."

"Our stay at the Tarzan Hut was incredible. We spent a total of two weeks in French Polynesia and our first 5 days were at the Tarzan Hut before leaving Tahiti for Rangiroa. Laurence was incredibly helpful throughout our entire stay, constantly helping us out with any thing we needed. She even gave us a ride to the airport on our last day when we couldn't get a cab because of a holiday. The property is located directly across the street from a local grocery store and next to a restaurant. The store has everything you could need including fresh fish and meat everyday. The lunch spot next door is a great place to grab a quick lunch. We spent most of our time surfing while in Tahiti and the location of the property is a great spot to access various surfing spots. Our surf instructor lived nearby and picked us up everyday. The accommodations were exactly as advertised. Our weather was great the whole time during our stay and we never had to close the windows. If you are looking get away from the crowded hotels near Papeete and get a genuine feel for life on Tahiti, I could not imagine a better place to do it. We had a blast talking with Laurence and her husband Nicolas. They made us cocktails one evening at sunset and we loved visiting with them and their son Giovani (not sure on the spelling) on their sun deck. We have already decided we will be coming back to visit them again. Than you Laurence for making our first part our honeymoon unforgettable."

"What can be said about Moorea that has not already been said in previous reviews! The beauty of the island is staggering from the clear turquoise ocean to the sandy beach to the dramatic rise of the mountains, and sooo green! My husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary here by swimming with dolphins. We also took a boat trip and swam with sting rays and black tip shark.
The house and landscaping were beyond beautiful. Tiare who took our reservation and was our contact person was wonderful - so helpful. And Fifi who kept the house sparkling clean was precious. She made amazing flower arrangements (one in every room including bathrooms) with flowers cut from the garden.
This is the most beautiful island we have been to, we were there for 16 days (all spent at the house) and could have stayed longer with no problem. We hope to return."

"Staying at the Villas Bougainville was a treat beyond adequate description. Raphael Matapo and his staff could not have been more welcoming, helpful and generous. The villa we were in is charmingly decorated and very, very clean. We could walk right out in the yard and pick coconuts, mangos, lime, papaya and much more. We had plenty of privacy but Raphael and his staff were available if we had a question.
The car and boat really enhanced our stay. We had the freedom to explore the bay and the island and return to places we really liked.
The town of Fare has shops, markets and a super market where we found everything we needed. The people are so friendly. Huahine Nautique offers a wealth of information and activities. We especially enjoyed the picnic boat tour. The owner, Marc, also has a very good restaurant/bar in town where you can sit and watch fishing boats come in.
The best part about the island of Huahine, for us, is that it is not heavily touristed and commercial. It is a lush paradise with beautiful, friendly people. We look forward to going back again soon."
