  • Perfect little bungalow!

"We had a wonderful time! Starting with excellent communication from Denis, the property owner, even through a payment problem (through no fault of his). We arrived to find the Villa in immaculate condition, even better than the pictures! The on site property manager Alix was amazing, acting as a concierge as well! Having our own kitchen and laundry was a great way to save money while still getting to experience paradise. Any complaints we had could be said for any property in Tahiti: neighborhood dogs barking, roosters calling the sunrise too early, and bugs biting everywhere; welcome to paradise!! Thank you again Denis and Alix for an amazing honeymoon we'll never forget!"

  • An amazing vacation

"This is bar none the best location on the island. Right across the street from shopping, restaurants and banks. The house was amazing. Lots of room & privacy for 5 adults. The pool was a real treat, we used it daily. The covered patio was awesome, we spent most of our time out there. Snorkelling right off our dock. We saw lots of brightly coloured fish, dolphins, rays and even an octopus. The bikes, kayaks and ping pong table were used by all. If we had any suggestions on how to make this property better they would be a larger fridge (Hinano bottles are large) & a gas BBQ. Carmeline's has to die for pastries. The Beach Café was a nice place to go for a good dinner. The best place to shop for pearls was a little pink shop right across the street from the Beach Café called The Black Pearl, looks more like a fruit stand than pearl shop but the prices were good and the owner super nice. Take the Hiro's snorkelling trip to swim with blacktip sharks & rays, it was amazing. A really good crew, very entertaining & the BBQ was great. We rented a vehicle for 2 days to tour the island, the view from Belvedere is amazing. All in all a fantastic 2 weeks. We would definitely recommend this property to everyone."

  • Best vacation ever!!!

"As you read the reviews below, they all say the same thing; best vacation ever in the best house on the island. We completely agree with those other comments. We loved our9-day stay. 7 of us shared this best house on the island. Tiare greeted us when we arrived and took care of us throughout our stay. The time to return our cars and catch the ferry didn't work out for us so Tiare made a call to a friend at Avis and everything worked out great. Everyone on the island loves Tiare and you will too. The house was cleaned beautifully for us and our blood pressures went from 140/100 to 30/10 (kidding about the 30/10). We fed and petted wild stingrays, sitting in the water just 10 feet from our beautiful shore. We canoed and snorkeled everywhere, everyday. The villa has it's own canoe's for you. We had a "marriage renewal of vows" service on the shoreline at sunset. It was great. We went scuba diving with TopDive swimming with sharks but enjoyed coming home to our villa. Ok, there were a few chickens in everyone's yards but they added to the ambiance of being in Moorea. There are cattle that cross the road in front of you while you're driving too. Oh, there are millions of potholes in the only 2 lane road around the island. Just get use to it. Chase the chickens away and they'll be gone for a couple of days. Make sure to rent a car at Avis. It's expensive but you have to do it to see the island. The Milky Way is so clear at nights. It's unbelievable. It's ok to drink the water. Get lots of XPF (Francs) before you arrive at the villa. The taxi's and vans at the Tahiti airport only work for cash. 3500 XPF's from the airport to the ferry for the use of a van. Almost all of the food stores on the island deal with cash only. Remember, most stores are closed between 12:00-2:00pm. The 3 banks are about 30-40 minutes away from the villa and the banks are practically next door to each other. Ok, you're on vacation so the food at the restaurants is higher. But, load up at the Champion market, close to the Ferry dock where the beef is cheaper. The local restaurants don't look like much from the outside but their food is great. The Mayflower was very snooty to us. I'm boycotting "The Mayflower" and telling all of my friends. We will definitely return to this wonderful place. Enjoy your stay. Thank you Tiare for a wonderful vacation. Michael Olesiuk"

  • Quiet, secluded bungalow, friendly hosts

"My wife and I stayed here for three days of our 40th anniversary trip. It is just as advertised: quiet, secluded, comfortable, clean, and fully equipped. It is a great place to come to get away from the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life. We took time to explore the island, but were able to come back here at the end of the day, prepare dinner, and relax. Our hosts, Isabelle and Jean-Paul were always available to answer any questions we had regarding Mo'orea and the surrounding area. You really need a rental car to get around on Mo'orea, and Isabelle offered to help us obtain a substantial discount when we reserved the car. We enjoy kayaking and wanted to kayak in the lagoon, so Isabelle told us exactly where to go to rent a kayak. We enjoyed every minute of our visit to Mo'orea and our stay at this bungalow. Thanks, Isabelle and Jean-Paul, for helping to make our stay on Mo'orea a very special and memorable one."
