"Perfectly situated, comfortable home right in the center of Paradise. This house is well-named - the setting is so tranquil and beautiful. We had an amazing vacation! We paddled along the canal to the lagoon daily. So grateful for the easy access and the trusty kayak! Just a short paddle away from outstanding coral reefs, sandy beaches, colorful fishes, stingrays, eagle rays, black tip reef sharks . . . Also close by are the Intercontinental and Les Tipaniers. They offer additional amenities should you choose to partake. I really enjoyed kayaking between the bungalows at the Intercontinental. The water was so clear and calm. A great place for swimming and snorkeling if the water is choppy out in the more open areas. Across the lagoon are a few motus (islets) that are fun to visit and offer excellent snorkeling. The Coco Beach restaurant on Motu Tiaharu offers fresh seafood dishes with traditional Tahitian sides. Within close walking distance is a well-stocked market so we were able to cook most days. They offer fresh seafood on Tuesdays and Fridays; fresh baked goods (including baguette) daily. Another shopping area is a few kilometers away. We were able to get everything we needed. We did not have a car, just rented a scooter one day, and did just fine. You can also rent bicycles nearby. I could go on and on but don't think I will ever do Moorea and the House of Peace justice. This truly is paradise. Enjoy!"

"Iaorana. We stayed at Motu Ahuna Villa in mid May and had chosen that time frame to be sort of in between the summer and winter seasons. It was a good choice with highs in the upper 80's and lows in the upper 70's every day. We had some rain, but not much, and there was a nice breeze much of the time.
There were 4 of us (2 couples) and we had the most wonderful vacation. It truly was the trip of a lifetime. As others have said, you need a bit of an adventurous spirit or this is not the place for you. It helps to have at least one person with some boating experience. Cooking our own meals, including those over the fire pit (barbeque), was all part of the experience that we will forever cherish about this trip. I really enjoyed my cold 22 oz. Hinanos sitting on the picnic table by an evening campfire, watching the stars (there have to be more stars in Bora Bora!), and the boats coming and going through the pass in front of the Motu.
We will never forget the great memories that we've taken away from this vacation. From the very beginning when Maeva met us at the airport, we knew everything was going to be great. The homemade Leis she brought us were beautiful, and much nicer than those for others staying at resorts. She is such a genuinely nice lady. Everyone was very kind and welcoming to us throughout our stay. There was a slight communication barrier with Joelle and Tatiyana (spelling?), but they were both very nice and it was good to know that there was someone on
the island that we could go to if we needed for any reason. The villa was perfect and certainly as described. We enjoyed watching every sunrise and sunset every day we were there. On our trips to Vaitape in the small boat, we had no problems and everyone in the village that we met was equally friendly. We all will never forget the smell of the fresh baguettes being brought out from the oven to the front of the store at Chin Lee's or Super U. They were so good and I'm sure we'll never find them that fresh again any where here in the U.S. Rocky, our tour guide on the jeep safari, was perfect. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, and answered all our questions about the island. My wife and my sister will cherish the black pearls they brought home from Bora
Bora. Your store (The Farm) is incredible!
I hope we are able to return some day.
Thanks again (Mauru' uru) and if you ever need a good reference for your villa, I would be more than happy to provide one."

"Our 10-day stay was better than imaged. We were picked up at the ferry, taken to local supermarket and then on the Motu Tamae, speaking English and given local information by the beautiful Joscelyn all the way. Entering the property was breathtaking. It is truly Polynesia.. A bountiful platter of fruit on the table, the sounds of the sea outside, and the shade of the coconut palms, the eye-catching art all around had us smiling with the knowledge we had chosen the right place. Other reviewers have stated many of the features I would highlight. No need for me. Even if everything wasn't as great has written, Joscelyn and Alain are. They are the reason you should come."

Amazing slice of heaven at the end of the road and away from it all
"For those looking to truly get away from it all and relax in one of the most beautiful places on earth, this is the most perfect place to be. I cannot imagine a more pristine, untouched slice of heaven. The house is amazing, the settings are breathtaking and the locals could not be nicer. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a hidden gem."
