"We completely lucked out with booking MarieLou and Gilles' waterfront rental. From the moment we met Marie at the dock we knew we were in for an amazing experience. This couple, Marie and Gilles, are the ultimate hosts with an beautiful rental, complete knowledge/background on the island (being locals), connections to any activity, and extremely generous with their time and energy. We walked into a clean house, treats in the fridg., and an ocean view. The place was perfect with its comfortable bedrooms, showers (inside and out), large deck, lush yard, fun kayaks, bicycles, and a private ocean pier ( there is plenty more I am forgetting about). Marie and Gilles helped us with everything from grocery shopping, adventure tours (lead by Marie), tasty meals, and lots of laughs. The four of us highly recommend this place and hope it is not booked when we want to return. Mauruuru!!!!"

"After looking at a myriad of properties on Moorea, my wife and I decided on this spacious house right on the water. The house came equipped with everything we needed, and even a few extras (paddle boat, kayaks, pool table). The house is situated right in the heart of Maharepa, and there is a grocery store, bank, and restaurants within easy walking distance. Paddling out to the water to watch the sunset was one of the highlights of this place. I would definitely recommend this place, since the house is so spacious and private, but right in the middle of all the action in town."

"This place is awesome, with a cool tropical design that's a cross between traditional Polynesian and whimsical island treehouse. Awesome beds, linens, and spotlessly clean. The location is great, use the kayaks to go out to the nearby motu to snorkel on the reef. We rented a car and the reef just here was as good or better than any other snorkeling spot we found. The other best spot is the beach near the airport, by the way. Pick up some fresh tuna from the guy down the road with the sign (1000 CFP/kilo) and a some wine and you will find yourself never wanting to leave Moorea. Highly recommended."

"Isabelle and Jean-Paul were the most wonderful hosts. They are there if you needed them but in no way intrusive. It was like staying at your family's guest house! Beautiful fruit and fresh baked bread, hand made preserves all of which were amazing. The kitchen was stocked with essentials and made cooking easy. The bungalow is perfect and Isabelle's attention to detail is incredible! Beautiful flowers are purposely placed throughout the bungalow, a welcome touch! I can't wait to return!"
