  • Perfection in Paea!!!

"We stayed in The Tarzan house over Christmas and New Years, it was the perfect place for us to explore and relax in Tahiti. The bungalows were so amazing and well kept. We loved that the kitchen and bath area were seperated from the living area. The jacuzzi was a great amenity because we had the nicest weather and it got hot :) The deck is where we spent every morning watching the fish in the lagoon, and every night with the beautiful sunsets. The flowers and shells and trees add to the privacy and all around beauty of the property. The owners are what makes this place so special though. A sweeter family you will be hard pressed to find. Laurence is a nonstop dynamo. She went above and beyond in everything we asked of her. Her husband Nicholas was super funny and nice. They invited us to Christmas dinner, so we met her extended family as well. We had a great time with them all. Laurence helped us rent a car which we took to Moorea on the ferry. It was super easy and fast, about 35 minutes for the crossing on the Armeti 5. She also told us about a day trip to Tetiaroa with Tahiti Voile Et Lagon. It was truly a great experience. The most beautiful water, white sand, fish and birds. The people that run that boat are a class act. The store across the street was a huge amenity and the people who work there were super sweet. Moonrae the restaurant a few doors down was also excellent with very nice people working there. Tahiti and the Tarzan house is the perfect base camp to explore the islands. We were always ready to come back to our house after a long day. Some days we did not move at all, well maybe to kayak in the lagoon :) Laurence, we miss you all already. You and your family made our stay perfect. I hope the bird next door has her babies. I hope your bird makes a full recovery, your son is a great caretaker of it :) Send Enzo to us when you are ready :) When we come back it must be for a month :)"

  • Awesome place to stay close to ocean/surf.

"Stayed here for a couple of days during a swell at Teahupoo. I loved it! Great location...close to surf break and ocean and awesome place to relax. Would definitely stay here again."

  • Beautiful location and house but household pets a little bothersome...

"We had a wonderful week in French Polynesia, we had a group of four adults and three young (under age six) children. The house is in a fantastic location a few steps from the ocean, a short walk to the supermarket and the banks and stores of central Maharepa. The owner/host Natea was very welcoming and friendly, helping to make our stay very memorable. A great spot especially for families with children, the large property is a great location for the little ones to run around. Also very nice that the house comes with a kayak and canoe, the outer reef is quite a swim from the shore so it's good to be able to take the boats out to the channel. We all have very fond memories of sitting on the deck each night, eating fresh fish and drinking cocktails while the little ones were asleep! Our only complaint was the animals that come with the house. There is a house cat that guests are required to feed, something that most definitely was not disclosed to us prior to paying a deposit or arriving in Moorea. So if you're allergic to cats this is not the place for you. The cat peed on the floor in one of the bathrooms a couple of times, not exactly something you want to be dealing with during your week in paradise! There are also two dogs that come with the house: one belonging to the owner and the other from next door. The owner's dog is generally very well behaved and not a hassle at all, however the neighbor's dog was a real pain. He would come inside the house, pee on our shoes and knocked over our small children a number of times during our stay. We voiced our concern a number of times to the owner and even went next door to complain to the neighbor but absolutely nothing was done about it. We finally resorted to chaining the poor thing up to a tree during the day! So in general a fantastic place to stay and one I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Just be warned about the animals and if it's something that concerns you bring it up with the rental agency before paying your deposit."

  • Excellente prestation.

"Un accueil des plus chaleureux, une prestation plus que complète, il ne manque rien, même les denrées et produits de base sont à votre disposition . Le faré est d'une propreté irréprochable, baigné de végétation il surplombe le lagon et vous berce, dans le silence et la douce brise de l'île. On est pas loin du paradis. La gentillesse d'Aline, son agréable faré et la beauté du site sont à recommander sans modération."
