  • Great Experience! !

"Perfect condo. Walked in and out looked and smelled clean. The view was phenomenal from the balcony. Several mornings during our stay we saw dolphins swimming in the ocean. I had never booked a condo before but Tom made this a very hassle free comforting experience. The kids loved the 3 bedrooms so they each had their own room. 2 bathrooms made getting ready very easy. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The grocery store close by was so convenient. . Saved us a ton in eating out as we made breakfast every morning and ate lunch at the condo add well. The beach was great. Both the beach and the pool had more than enough room, very uncrowded. Nice to have the security wandering the property. Great restaurants are Lamberts, Hurricane Grill, and Andys ice cream. Naval museum in Pensacola was nice to get out of the sun for a day. Would Highly recommend this condo and location to everyone! !"

  • Fabulous girls' weekend away ...

"All seven of us were very pleased with the comfort and tranquility of this beautiful house. We were especially impressed with how well-equipped the kitchen was -- with foodies like us, this is very important! Thanks for a rejuvenating home away from home ... we will return!"

  • Wonderful week on the Gulf of Mexico

"We had a wonderful time in this condo and the beach. The condo is very clean, and has everything you need for a comfortable time at the beach. We especially enjoyed the balcony which overlooks one of the pools as well as the beach and the gulf. Eating breakfast and lunch each day on the balcony was so relaxing and enjoyable. The balcony was also great for sitting on and enjoying the beautiful moon reflections off of the gulf at night. The living area is very comfortable with three chairs and a sofa. The master bedroom is a nice size and the bed in that room is so comfortable. The refrigerator and the air conditioning unit are the best we have had in staying at any of the condos in Orange Beach. The weather was perfect the entire week we were there, and we all hated to leave. However, the promise of returning to the beach again, helps cushion that blow."

  • We had a great time!

"We shared the smaller of the two houses, "Little Blue" with another family. It was spotlessly cleaned when we arrived, which is huge deal to us. Beds were very comfortable, even though the bedrooms were a touch on the small side. We were close friends with the couple staying in the other main bedroom so we dealt with it, but the bath is shared, so be aware of that. There is a full bathroom upstairs in the main living area, and that is where we got ready each day instead of the bathroom on the middle floor- no big deal! The kids slept in the bunk room (which has a shower in the bathroom) and on the sofa pull-out. The pool- EXCELLENT! It was roomy and well designed. The kids swam for hours each day and evening, and we never had any trouble sharing with the nice renters in the larger house, "Big Blue." The pool and hot tub were clean, and serviced by the pool company while we were there. If you are "pool people" you will love this house. Bring bug spray.... it's Florida, with lots of dune vegetation all around. The beach access was as described- you have to walk down the road a little ways to get to the dune cross over. We are fit and able to walk/carry things, but it may be an issue if you have someone who has trouble walking up stairs. Kiva Dunes itself is a clean, well-managed resort neighborhood, and they offer a shuttle to the beach access points. You do get some view of the ocean from the decks of the house, but as mentioned, the large dune right in front of the house blocks the direct view. The only suggestions we would make would be to add a few chairs to the main living area. We had plenty of sleeping space, but very little sitting space. There was one small sofa, and one small upholstered chair. You can sit in the dining area or kitchen bar, but those kinds of chairs aren't comfortable for sitting around and visiting. Also, the adirondack chairs on the deck are all cracked and splitting, making it perilous to sit in shorts! With a small main living area, we wanted to sit on the deck a lot, but the chairs were in poor condition. Minor issue that could be easily fixed. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and the area is uncrowded. We cooked most of our meals, and didn't mind driving 20 minutes to Gulf Shores for the two dinners when we did dine out- Lulu's and The Gulf.... both yummy! It was a slightly tight fit for two families, but it's fine if you like each other, and the price was VERY reasonable."
