  • Great Labor Day Weekend

"We enjoyed our 4 day stay on Mobile Bay. The house was just perfect for our families needs. We loved sitting on the pier drinking coffee and watching the sunrise. In the evenings the kids really enjoyed fishing. We were also able to do a little waterskiing. The boat launch was really convient. It's only a few hundred yards away. The check in and out process was made very easy. We cannot wait to return. We are going to try to make it a family tradition to stay each year at this particular bay house."

  • Good times at Happy Anniversary House!

"Our family (3 generations) spent two weeks in this delightful home on the bay. The pier and the covered bathhouse is wonderful - loved having coffee each morning watching pelicans soar by and dive bomb for fish. We enjoyed seeing beautiful sunsets, swimming, crabbing and fishing. The screened porch is delightful. We enjoyed having family and friends visit us. This home is very comfortable and has a great floor plan."

  • The perfect rental in Fairhope

"Kate's Place was our home base while moving a college student to Spring Hill College in Mobile. We can't say enough about Mike and Kathleen's hospitality. They were the most gracious of hosts. The house is spacious, charming and clean; the grounds beautifully landscaped. Mike and Kathleen seemed to think of everything to make their guests comfortable. From a well-stocked kitchen to small, thoughtful items (a sewing kit!), we had everything we needed. The location is great - close to Fairhope and all of its charm. Mike and Kathleen kindly permitted us access to their pier, and we enjoyed several evenings of visiting with them while watching happy hour sunsets over Mobile Bay. Making new friends was a bonus to a wonderful trip. You won't go wrong staying at Kate's place and working with these lovely owners."

  • Sweet home Alabama

"An amazing little bay house with everything I needed to enjoy a great vacation. A kitchen to cook meals and enjoy friends and family time. Plenty of sleeping space for everyone! (Also very clean!!) And most importantly the amazing view of the bay off the deck while you sip your coffee on the porch! I am from the east coast and my favorite part of vacation was relaxing on the serene dock or porch and watch the pelicans go by. Breath taking! A place that felt like home even though I was miles away from it! I highly suggest renting this place because I know will again!"
