  • Perfect for families with dogs!

"We really enjoyed our time at the Sunrise Cottage. It is a bit rustic but very charming!Every morning my husband and I walked out to the pier to enjoy the sunrises, they are definitely worth waking up for! We have an 11 year old son who loved fishing, crabbing and jumping off the rope swing. He also brought a cast net and enjoyed using it there. We brought our two dogs, one a Chiweenie and the other a Boston Terrier. There was plenty of property for the dogs to explore, we never even walked them the whole time we were there because of all the space they had to roam. We saw dolphins two different times while we were there. We also caught crabs and had our very first crab boil. This property is located in an awesome area, it is far enough away to be private but definitely close enough to go to Gulf Shores for the day or to Foley for shopping at the outlets! We contacted the owner a couple of times before and during our stay, she was always very friendly and helpful."

  • Sweet home Alabama

"An amazing little bay house with everything I needed to enjoy a great vacation. A kitchen to cook meals and enjoy friends and family time. Plenty of sleeping space for everyone! (Also very clean!!) And most importantly the amazing view of the bay off the deck while you sip your coffee on the porch! I am from the east coast and my favorite part of vacation was relaxing on the serene dock or porch and watch the pelicans go by. Breath taking! A place that felt like home even though I was miles away from it! I highly suggest renting this place because I know will again!"

  • Like visiting my grandmothers house

"That's what my DIL said. when visiting! This is a great place for a couple of kids...cornhole. walks up and down boardwalk.etc....kids even saw the end of a jubilee...hundreds of baby flounder! Loved the dining room ,kitchen, beds. I had a hard time finding a comfortable chair to watch the good Tivo setup. A pier would be nice but we knew it did not have one. 7 minutes to town and all that Fairhope has to offer, Leslie was fab to work with...even mailed some items left behind to us."
