The Rookery III Condos near Fort Morgan
Fort Morgan is one of those attractions your family must see if you are staying in The Rookery III condos. It is a fort that was built after the war of 1812 to increase US security. Fort Gaines is on the other side of the bay on Dauphin Island, and there is a ferry ride available for people to explore both of the forts. The Mobile Bay Ferry runs multiple times a day, so you can sleep in at one of the Fort Morgan beach rentals or the Rookery III condos and then still have plenty of time to catch a ferry to Fort Gaines.
