"We could not express enough how much we enjoyed our long overdue vacation in Gulf Shores. Property is just as the owner describes here and was clean. Yes, it's an older duplex but it met every need for us. Just as your own home, repairs are always needed but there is nothing wrong with this place that would keep a person from staying here. We LOVED it! Very reasonable rate. Great location - right near the main intersection as you enter Gulf Shores. Stores and restaurants within walking distance. Beach was too but since there were four of us women on a girls trip, we had lots of stuff to tote so we drove to the public parking area a couple blocks away. For us, it felt just like coming home. We really have no complaints at all and plan to return to this Duplex again. If all goes well, mid-September this year is what we're hoping for. The owner is very friendly, easy to work with, and was very helpful. Thank you again for allowing us to stay Unit A. We will be back!"

"Blue Dolphin 2 was everything we wanted and more for an awesome vacation. The home was very spacious and comfortable. Very liveable. The yard was AMAZING, with the heated saltwater pool, hot tub, tether ball and cornhole game. The sand and palm trees made you feel like you were on the beach. Enjoyed birds and saw a Bald Eagle. Anywhere you wanted to go eat, shop or the beach was within 15 minutes. Great places to eat nearby. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We felt like we had made new good friends"

The Difference between a GOOD and a GREAT Spring Break Vacation
"This is a nice size house with plenty of bedrooms for our extended family and a great heated pool that my grandchildren love. There is enough seating for our large family to breakfast at the house, then our mornings start with swimming in the heated pool at 9 am, a break for lunch at the picnic tables out back and then an afternoon excursion. We have visited the local zoo, gone to the beach, gone to Pensacola to see the Blue Angels practice(which is free) and toured the museum (also free), We went deep sea fishing one afternoon and had a local restaurant cook our catch for supper. We toured the USS Alabama in Mobile. There are also arcade type things for kids just up the road. Late afternoons catch us back in the pool or the kids playing in the sand area out back--then visiting some of the local restaurants or cooking on the grill at the house. It was the first time for some of the kids to visit Lambert's Restaurant--they loved the tossed rolls and antics. We usually visit LuLu's and the kids play in the sand while we wait on our food. We end the day back at the house in the evening where there is room to relax - enough seating and private bedrooms with TV's. The house is nicely furnished and the kitchen is well stocked with appliances, pots & pans, and dishware. There is plenty of parking for all of our cars. The owners go the extra mile if you need something or have a problem, all you have to do is ask. My granddaughter said this was the best spring break vacation EVER."
