"Our family has been visiting the Gulf Shores area in October for the past 10 years. We've stayed in many condos and this unit was one of the best. The pre-trip communications from Gail and Dirk and the customer service we received any time we needed something was top notch. This condo was furnished beautifully - from the kitchen utensils to the tasteful wall hangings. It was also very clean, which means a lot (esp if you've ever been in a nasty condo). Flat screen TVs, wireless that works and keyless entry w/a code that we set were great features. We were very pleased!"

"When my wife and I plan a beach trip we always check availability of this condo first. No, it's not perfect, but neither is any other condo that we've tried. What is always excellent, though, is Pam's support. Everything is always done right, as it should be, and on the rare occasion when we've experienced a problem she has been on top of it immediately. We always know that when we stay at Lighthouse #1209 we'll have a great vacation."

"The booking was a bit confusing and communication was not fantastic with the owners. Right after booking through VRBO, I received an email from the owners instructing me to mail a deposit check among other things to them promptly. So I did this. I did not realize until days later that my credit card had already been charged a deposit fee upon check out at booking. After realizing that I had paid the deposit twice, I tried several times over appox 2 weeks to get my second deposit back....sent several emails, left voicemails, it wasn't until the day of check in that I was able to get in touch with one of the owners who told me that my check had been destroyed and would not be cashed. All a big misunderstanding it just would of been nice to have better commination and known this sooner, $350 tied up in your bank account isn't convenient when you are planning a vacation :) ha!
But that was THE ONLY problem we had. The condo was clean and comfortable. We did get walked in on once by the housekeeper who came in a day early but she apologized and left quickly. The beach & parking was VERY convenient! We loved the whole area and the whole trip was a wonderful."
