  • The Perfect Fall Getaway!!!

"What a wonderful treat awaits you at Fisherman's Landing in Langston, Alabama; right on the beautiful Lake Guntersville! My family was just on a four day Fall Break with some fishing and relaxation in mind. We were delighted when we reach our Fisherman's Landing destination. For three years now, this quaint, clean and refreshing cottage area is our Number 1 choice for family fun. Not only are the cottages and cabins perfect with all the necessary amenities, but the lawn is so very well kept and the individual spaces for your boat is quite a bonus. A new area for fish cleaning has been installed, with everything you need. There is even a commons area where family and friends can gather under a pavilion for games, picnicking and maybe some guitar sing-alongs! The Landing is located just yards away from a perfect boat slip so it is easy to get your boat in and out of. The owners go above and beyond to make Fisherman's Landing a place you want to keep coming back to you. It is very likely that you will even see Ms. Donna touring the Landing throughout the day checking on folks to make sure that all of their vacation needs are met!"

  • Great for Large Family!

"Our extended family of 16+ stayed at this spacious house for a family get-away--some traveling from Columbia, S.C., Atlanta area and NW Georgia...grandparents, nieces, nephews, cousins...and we had a blast! The view of the mountains to the right and lake everywhere else was breathtaking and the pool was the perfect "attraction" for the children and adults! Sam was very responsive if we had a need or questions, and was only a phone call away. We enjoyed the local eateries, (Top of the River is less than a mile away!) but spent most of our time in the well-equipped kitchen and eating out on the deck (with seating for everyone) overlooking the pool and lake. The kids loved the bunk alcove and there was plenty of space for air mattresses. We love Lake Guntersville and really enjoyed our time together building great family memories in this beautiful house."

  • Well Pleased

"We had a total of five guys in our party, and we really enjoyed our stay, the house was set up nice, the view from inside and also from the outside deck was GREAT! The boat house on deep water was extra nice for fishing at night and also pulling your boat in after a long day fishing and just hooking your boat to the charger, closing the door and retiring up to the house for some R&R. The owner was great to deal with and as I told him we would definitely be back to stay again, The pictures were spot on."

  • Loved it!!

"Just received a text from my daughter - "Did I tell you how much fun I had this weekend? Loved it! LOVED IT!! My wife and I rented the Two Cabins for a weekend with our children, our niece and their families. We are from Nashville, Atlanta, and Mississippi, making it a very convenient meeting place. Everyone loved the cabins and facilities and we had a lot of fun fixing meals and eating on the picnic table in the kitchen. The kids spent every day on the lake fishing, skiing and tubing and we oldsters mostly sat on the porch, talked and snacked. Our favorite night was around the campfire down the hill where we made s'mores, told ghost stories, saw a shooting star real close and discussed what we would do in case of a zombie attack. Thanks for a wonderful weekend with our family. We are already planning for next year."
