  • Quite , peaceful week

"We rented this property for an entire week. It was very nice and quite. The sattelite was out upon our ariving and we knew this because Dorothy emailed me and called me to verify i knew. It was fixed our 2nd day. This was not a problem as we went to enjoy the lake and not watch tv. The house is excatly as advertised. It is roomy and has a nice comfortable feeling to it. we meet both neighbors on either side of the house and they were nice. There is plenty of sitting room and if someone wanted to use an air matteress, there is plenty of room for it. We used all the applicances and all worked as intended. The dock is big enough to tie up my 32 foot pontoon boat. The only drawback to the house is the hill leading to the dock was too steep for my eldery parents. That isnt fair though, because after touring the lake , most of the houses are on a hill. The boating landing is only several hundred yards from the main driveway, so we just transported them to it and they boarded the boat their. It was not a problem or a big deal, i just wanted to mention it. All in all, it was a great house for the week and we hope to use it again in the future."

  • A great trip to the lake

"We arrived to a clean and comfortable house. It had everything we needed for a long weekend of fishing and playing in the water. The children enjoyed jumping off of the dock into the deep water and digging in the sand on the beach. There are plenty of bream and catfish that can be caught right from the dock (we did catch and release so they are all still there for you). I bought a huge pail of wigglers and they were gone in two days. The house is located in a cove which has a large campground across from it. That seemed to lead to a lot of boat traffic, which can make hanging out on the floating dock quite a ride. It is also a good climb from the house down to the water and back (over 100 steps), so keep that in mind. Overall we were more than happy with this house, and plan to return."

"We were blessed to rent this beautiful lake house for my son in the navy coming in before going overseas. The owners are wonderful people and make the process so easy. The trees in the back that provided cool shady area and there is a picnic table there. My favorite really was the back screened in porch and the rockers on the porch. The beds had thick really nice mattresses even down to the bunks. We have stayed in other rentals on the lake but this is by far the nicest. We plan to book again. My son catch a huge catfish right from the dock. Thanks Peyton and Jane."
