"We stayed at this lovely corner unit condo for the month of October and lived it. The view is to die for. Loved the corner unit with the extra deck on the back. The furnishings were great as well as the kitchen was nicely stocked. Our only point of contention from the very beginning all the way through the month was the satellite television. We started having problems right away. Can't remember if we called one of the maintenance men listed or Laura's Vacation Rentals, but we were told to call the satellite company, which we did. Twice. Both times by the time they got there it had finally received a signal. The third time we went without satellite 2 days thinking it would come on but it never did. Once again, another call. We waited for him to show up all morning. When he got there he had to go up on the roof, etc. and finally, what do you know, he fixed it. One of the things we love to do every October at the beach, which this was our 4th straight year, is to watch the baseball playoffs, World Series. This put a serious damper on that. Well, wouldn't you know it 3 days before we left to go home, another glitch in the satellite at which point my husband was on the phone an hour with a technician and they finally got it fixed. While I know this is not any fault of the condo owner, it was such an inconvenience to have to deal with this stuff while on vacation. I feel like it should have not been us to do it all, rather the management company. I don't think I would stay in that unit again for fear of more problems. Hopefully it is all fixed for the next renters."
