"Turquoise Place is by far the nicest place we have stayed in Orange Beach. It has some great amenities, such as an amazing gym and steam room. This particular unit is nice but does have some negatives. The hot tub was so dirty that it was unusable. I realize that the property, not the owner, is responsible for cleaning the hot tub, but it still was a real negative during our stay. In addition, the Internet is unreliable, which is a problem if you have to work at all during your stay. Many of the tv channels do not work well or at all, and it is inconsistent among the various tvs as to which channels do work. If you intend on cooking, bring your own knives, cutting board, etc.; the ones provided are even worse than what you expect in a rental. One final note, you must have a key to go out to or come in from the beach. This is a hassle if people in your group are doing different things because you only get two keys. It took us two days to get extra keys from the owner."

Excellent condo, great location, all needed amenities
"We recently stayed for 5 days. I loved that you could book this condo for less than the 7 day stay most places seemed to require. The location was great and beach views were amazing. Parking spot in the underground garage right by the doors was perfect. Bring coffee but no need to bring coffee filters. We cooked 2 meals a day and ate out once a day. Spices available are salt and pepper. All needed utensils and cooking items were on hand. I brought one extra roll of paper towels and a couple extra roles of TP. Also brought detergent for laundry. It was nice to wash our clothes in the condo and not have to come home with any dirty laundry. We also washed towels a couple times. Bring your own beach towels. We brought most of our own pantry snacks and drinks and everything else we bought at local Publix. You do need to bring your own shampoo/conditioner and body wash. We loved being right on the beach and we also used the pool quite a lot, as the kids couldn't get enough of swimming. On our last day we noticed kids' toys in the guest room closet lol. The owner was super easy to work with, very nice, etc. Our favorite meal in the area was probably Moe's original BBQ. We also ate at the shrimp basket and it was good. We did a day in Destin and a day in Pensacola which was fun, but due to traffic and one lane roads, that trip took way longer than miles would indicate. The beaches just past the main town area of Pensacola were beautiful and uncrowded. Bring a flashlight (or iPhone flashlight works) to search for little crabs on the beach in front of the condo after dark. If you have your own beach chairs and umbrellas it might be nice to bring them, but you can also rent them in front of condo. Bring Desitin to help if boys get sand rash. Husband and son wore spandex tights under swim trunks to help avoid the rash. Not many shells on this beach but enough to let your little ones bring a few home. We saw Dolphins on beach in front of condo several times. We also spent a day in gulf shores. They had a few more shells. It was much busier than Orange Beach though. We loved our stay in this condo and will likely make it an annual trip."

"I traveled with my son and parents to Orange Beach and rented this condo. The condo was really clean and we had lots of room. I loved the huge balcony. We spent lots of time sitting there and watching the ocean. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was well stocked. It's also located near restaurants and stores if you need to run out and grab something. I had no complaints at all. Would for sure stay again."

"This was a great choice for our little trip. We wanted a quick weekend getaway with a beachfront view and easy access to an uncrowded beach. That is exactly what we got. The property is on the beach and has its own access. There is a public access area on one side, but it is far enough away that the crowds stayed down there. Larger more modern properties on the other side, but they also have their own beach access so there wasn't any issue with people crowding our beach area. The water was clean as was the beach...no seaweed or garbage in the water or piled on the beach. Shopping and dining was also convenient. Some places were in walking distance and some took a quick 5 minute drive. The condo itself was clean and ready when we arrived. Other than food, we didn't need to buy anything. There are some chairs, an umbrella, and other beach stuff in the condo's storage room...or chairs and umbrellas are available for rent on the beach. We spent most of our time on the beach or on the balcony just relaxing. There is a king bed, 2 small bunks, and the couch folds out into a bed. I'd say this would be a good spot for a couple, or a family with 2-3 small children. 4-6 adults could be a tight fit. The condo is an older property so it isn't a "luxury suite" type place, but then again, it is very affordable for the location. We'll definitely stay there again."
