GREAT GREAT GREAT
"We always stay @ Grand Pointe. This was the 1st time in this unit. Was great. Will be back in the Fall. Can't beat the buy 3 get 4. This will become our home away from home."

"We stayed in this room during our vacation in June. We were looking forward to our stay at this condo based on the pictures on the listing; however, pictures do not do this condo justice! Everything was neat and clean. The view is wonderful. My 1 year old son loved watching the boats from our balcony. We look forward to staying at this condo again!"

"Loved it! The floorplan is remarkable. So spacious. Beautifully decorated. Very clean. Bed was so comfortable. View is gorgeous. Washer/dryer worked. Lots of kitchen utensils. The master bath area is huge! Loved the double sinks/vanities. Elevators are fast. Indoor parking is nice, especially when it's raining. Complex is right on the beach (bring your own beach towels). Never used the indoor & outdoor pools and spas, but checked them out. All looked inviting and well maintained. Only a few complexes down from FloraBama -- easy walking distance.
I surprised my husband with this trip for his 60th birthday. We've never been to the beaches here, so this was a new experience. Was looking forward to a Gulf view, but found this to be even better because you can see the beautiful homes on the Bay. The only downside is the noise from Perdido Beach Blvd. when you're on the balcony. The blvd. is directly below, but can't be seen from the 11th floor unless you look down. If traffic noise doesn't bother you, the balcony is a great escape in the early morning and evening. None of the traffic noise can be heard when the doors are closed. We also heard some noise above us one evening and thought there were kids jumping around. Wasn't until I read other postings that I realized it was from the tennis court above. The noise was so minimal, though.
We had a few things happen when we first checked in. Didn't bother us. We found humor in them. The power to the building went off while we were checking in. The generators kicked on, but there was no water pressure for a few hours. After a long drive, a shower would have been nice. :) And yes, no water pressure for the toilets either. Then, the smoke detectors started beeping. Batteries were dead. No replacements in the condo so we ventured down to Publix. All was good after that. Oh ... if you love coffee, bring your own coffee pot or bring some coffee pot cleaner with you. It is in dire need of cleaning. The closest coffee shop is near Publix; and its hours are limited. I was craving a good cup of coffee by the end of our stay.
We had a blast! Would highly recommend this condo for a romantic getaway! Ladies, the size and layout of the master bathroom alone is wholly worth it."
