  • Look No Further In Orange Beach/Gulf Shores!

"The title says it all. This condo is by far the best beach location at which I and my family have ever stayed. Beautifully updated throughout with all of the amenities you need. Excellent location with gorgeous views and tile throughout. The owner described this place perfectly, her love for this property is evident by the way in which it is maintained. We visit the area once a year and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else and neither should you. If I could, I'd give it six stars."

  • So relaxing

"Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Fish Camp. Our group consisted of four adults and three children and there was plenty of space for everyone. The two 7-year-old boys really enjoyed staying in the loft area. And the kiddos also enjoyed the screened-in porches. Plenty of closet space in the house for clothes and luggage. The commute to beach was even shorter than I expected. Felt like it only took 3 minutes to get to the public beach parking. Most surprising was the silence of the neighborhood. Very peaceful. I would definitely recommend to family and friends. And owner is very friendly and helpful."

  • Fall Break Getaway

"I decided to surprise my daughters with some sun and sand for their school fall break - what a wonderful time to visit the coast! Water was gorgeous and weather was perfect. The condo is spacious, comfortable, well equipped with all modern appliances and accessories and very convenient to wonderful restaurants and activities. We enjoyed breakfast daily on the balcony overlooking the beautiful view of the ocean and the huge television in the family area for watching our favorite college football game. We witnessed the property maintenance crew cleaning the grounds, bbq pits and pools each morning. The owners were a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend renting this beautiful beachfront condo for your next trip to Orange Beach. My daughters would like to make this trip a new family tradition, so I am sure we will return to make many more memories and this condo is at the top of my list. Doug and Traci, many thanks for your hospitality!"

  • Should easily be 5 Stars ...

"First off, the pictures do not do this unit justice at all. It is so big and has so much room for everyone that you forget you are in a condo. It is in a perfect location and the entire Escapes complex is awesome. You are right in the middle of Orange Beach/Gulf Shores so anything that you want to do in the area is a short car ride away. The condo itself deserves 6 stars out of 5. The owners have an over abundance of towels and even beach items in case you forget to bring yours that they let occupants use. The problem we had was with the air conditioner in the unit. First off, the room that me, my wife and kids stayed in fan was broken. Top that off with an A/C unit that did not work properly for almost half of our trip and you have a recipe for some really hot nights. The first night we were there, the condo never cooled off but we really didn't pay no mind to it. The second night, 3 of us woke up in the middle of the night drenched in sweat and knew there was a problem with the air when there was water pouring out the door where the A/C was located and it was 77* when it was set on 71*. We called first thing in the morning and they sent someone out. We were not there when the guy came and checked on the A/C but we got a phone call telling us there was nothing wrong with it. I wasn't about to argue because I was on vacation but I knew there was a problem. We said we just weren't going to touch it and left it on 72* where they had it set. Well that night at 10 pm it was 77* and got up to 79* during the night while were trying to sleep in a room with a broken fan. Well I was furious and called that night and left a message. That morning promptly at 915 am they had someone come out for the second time and this time he said there was a problem and this time it was fixed. So i do not know why someone had to come out twice when it should have been fixed the first time. I have to give it to the property managers, they were very courteous and listened when we told them there was a problem. We did not and could not blame them that it wasn't fixed. They tried. I honestly believe what happened to us was an anomaly and would recommend to others to stay there but for close to $400 a night total for us to be as uncomfortable as we were, I would think long and hard before we went back. It wasn't the experience we were hoping for because it took over 3 days before we could sit in the condo and actually relax."
