  • Labor Day Weekend

"This beautifully decorated condo was so comfy to stay at. It felt like home away from home! The beach is a short walk away. The beautiful white sands had plenty of seashells for those who like the collect them. We had a blast playing in the waves which were strong because of the nearby rain storms. We were lucky the storm went around us so we had a beautiful sunny weekend! We loved the fact the condo is on the first floor. Meaning no stairs or elevators, so convenient. The kitchen was newly renovated; nice backsplash and granite counter tops etc. It was fully stocked with plates, cups, pots and pans, coffee maker, toaster etc. The master bedroom, guest bedroom and living room had new flat screen tvs. The tennis court is right outside if you feel like getting a few rounds in. There are two outdoor pools you can enjoy as well as an indoor pool. In the same building of the indoor pool, there’s a sauna. The indoor pool/sauna is located next to the tennis court. Our only complaint is that the master bedroom door was pretty hard to open/shut. But that’s it! We enjoyed staying at this lovely condo and hope to stay here again on our next vacation! P.S. I took some recent photos since their renovation. Visit: vacamyway.weebly.com"

  • Great Getaway

"Just returned from our trip to the beach and wanted to say thank you for a great vacation! The booking process was easy, the condo was beautiful, clean and well maintained, the view from the 9th floor was perfect. The kids enjoyed the splash pad so much, they already want to go back. Definitely will rent this condo again!!!"

  • Great week on the beach.

"This condo was right on the beach and exactly as pictured. My family of four (2 adults, 1 school-aged kid and 1 toddler) had plenty of space for the week. The building is easy to find. And, bonus, it's right by a traffic light. That makes it easy to find after dark and easy to get in and out of the parking lot. There are grocery stores nearby, including Wal-Mart, dollar stores, and liquor stores. The building has an indoor/outdoor pool. It was well-maintained. The patio has plenty of deck chairs and tables. The unit itself is on the east corner of the building. Because of this, the windows in both bedrooms offer fantastic views of the beach. The buildings to the east of the condo are 2-story houses, so the views from the bedrooms are not obstructed by another condo building. The living room also has 2 big windows with beach views. The balcony is perfect. There are 4 chairs and 2 small tables, just right for morning coffee or afternoon Popsicle break. The only downside of the condo location is that the master bedroom is near the elevator, so there is some noise from that at night and early morning. The bedrooms are just what you would expect. The master bedroom has a queen bed and a full bathroom attached. The shower in the master bath has a hand-held shower head, which was handy for using with the toddler. You may want to bring your own pillows. There is plenty of space - we kept all the family's luggage in this room. The 2nd bedroom is pretty small. The queen bed takes up most of the room. But, again, there is a big window and the room gets plenty of light, so it doesn't seem cramped, especially if you're using it for kids. The kitchen area has everything you need and the appliances are easy to use. There's a strange assortment of utensils and dishes and pans, probably a mix of what the owners provided and what other vacationers have left behind. Don't worry - there are several bottle openers and cork screws! The living room has a small table with 4 upholstered chairs, a couch, and two chairs. It's exactly how it looks in the photos. In general, the condo is clean. The floors, kitchen and bathrooms were clean, although there was some mold in the bathroom. The linens were not luxurious, but they were adequate. The owner was great to work with, we booked months in advance, and he kept in touch- even sent a Xmas card! For breakfast, try Cafe Beignet, by Winn Dixie. King Neptune's (Gulf Shores) has a great lunch."

  • Wonderful Vacation Condo!

"We had a wonderful time at the Tradewinds. Everything was exactly as pictured & described on the VRBO website. We didn't experience any t v./Netflix trouble like some others, but who watches t.v. When you have such an amazing view right outside your door!?! The pool was great for the kids and the beach was just outside our door. Thank you for sharing your condo with our family this week. Also, this condo was a great price compared to some others nearby. We will definitely be calling you again next year!"
