  • Wonderful home and wonderful memories!

"I went to Gulf Shores to have a beach wedding. This property was absolutely perfect! Between my fiancée and I we had 19 family members that needed accommodations. This home fit all of us with some minor rearranging (all the boys slept in the living room on the couch and pull out ottomans). The home is spacious and had plenty of bathrooms so that all of us could be getting ready for the wedding. The kitchen is stocked with all of the basic cookware and utensils. We went to a local grocery store and loaded up on food that we wanted to prepare. We did end up buying additional toilet paper and paper towels since there was only 1 roll in each bathroom and no spares to be found. But if that is our biggest complaint then I would say that is pretty good! The home has a private beach where our wedding was held. The wedding coordinators didn't have any problems getting access to the beach. Every bedroom has a view of the gulf. The furniture is in overall good shape with expected wear and tear. The beds are very comfortable and there is plenty of seating in the living room and dining room for everyone to gather around the television. I would highly recommend Crew's Quarters if you are looking to accommodate a large group. We had a blast and can't wait to come back!"

  • Snow Bird Fun!

"Thank you so much for helping us becoming happy snow birds! We had almost resigned ourselves that we wouldn't be able to get into the O B Villas this winter, due to all of the units being sold late 2014. Thanks to your dedication and follow through, we were able to get into one of the units. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and really appreciated your promptness and patience in answering our questions! We're looking forward to "flying" south for many winters to come!"

Alabama Travel Tips

Known as the "Heart of Dixie," Alabama borders Tennessee, Georgia, Mississippi and Florida. Though the capital of Alabama is Montgomery, the most populated city is Birmingham and the oldest city is Mobile, which was founded by French colonists.

For anyone looking to escape cold, wet winters, the climate in Alabama ranges from mild to hot with summer temperatures climbing to 100 degrees - perfect for a warm getaway. Winters are less harsh here, with temperatures ranging from 30 to 60 degrees.

History buffs will enjoy exploring any of the state’s 36 national historic landmarks and more than 1,200 locations that are part of the National Register of Historic Places. All of Alabama is steeped in rich and interesting facts from its beginning up until the present time.

Things to Do in Alabama

U.S. Space & Rocket Center: When visiting Huntsville, be sure to stop by the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, a museum showcasing achievements, rockets and artifacts from the United States’ space program. The museum is home to more than 1,500 permanent pieces relating to space exploration. The U.S. Space & Rocket Center also offers two camp programs where people can stay on-site and learn more about space with the U.S. Space Camp or aviation with the Aviation Challenge. Along with displays, you can also check out the Spacedome Theater, Rocket Park and Education Training Center that houses NASA’s Educator Resource Center.

Birmingham Zoo and Montgomery Zoo: Animal lovers are sure to enjoy a trip to either zoo in Birmingham or Montgomery, or maybe even both! The Birmingham Zoo is home to about 800 different animals of more than 200 species. It’s also a force in elephant conservation, featuring a Trails of Africa exhibit.
