  • Beautiful condo

"The condo was perfect for us. It's at the perfect location where it's an easy walk to restaurants, shops, bars and the beach is just right outside the condo! It was stocked very well and included a lot of extra things that other condos we've stayed at didn't have. We look forward to booking it again on our next trip down. :)"

  • Great Condo, Great Location!

"With a family of 6 (3 of them teenagers!) we needed a condo with ROOM and this provided! The views are great, the condo is clean and the kids were happy. Dana has the condo stocked with pots & pans (great for a shrimp boil). There are beach toys for children and some beach chairs & umbrella. It is so nice to be on beach front! The rooms are spacious and the master bedroom & bath are so relaxing. If you're not good at driving in tight spaces, you'll want to be sure to park on ground level. The garage can be a bit tricky with larger vehicles. The location of the condo is great! Close enough to shopping and restaurants, many in walking distance. Dana was easy to work with, we never had any problems during our stay, as all was just as promised. We would both stay and recommend Dana's condo in a heartbeat!"

  • Wonderful balcony

"This very clean and beautiful condo looks exactly like it is pictured. The balcony is huge and the view is excellent in all directions. We were able to watch the sunrise and sunset from there. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfortable. There are two large bathrooms. Because it is the last building next to the state park, the beach is not that crowded here. We used the beach service and our chairs and umbrella were waiting for us each day. Parking is good and everyone we met was very nice. The building and grounds are well kept and our stay was perfect. I intend to stay in this particular condo again in the future."

  • F A B U L O U S!!!!!!

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: From the moment we opened the door to the beautiful view and beautiful decor of this condo it was a fabulous vacation. The accommodations were so lovely, the balcony above and beyond and it was so convenient to everything. I would highly recommend it. We've gone to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach several times and I hope we can stay here every time we go from now on. The only bad part was closing the door when we had to come back home!! :) While there we saw the Blue Angels fly, ate at the Shrimp Basket, took the Ft. Morgan ferry over to Dauphin Island and went to the Hangout plus enjoyed the beach of course and all were FABULOUS!<br/> <br/><br/>"

Alabama Travel Tips

Known as the "Heart of Dixie," Alabama borders Tennessee, Georgia, Mississippi and Florida. Though the capital of Alabama is Montgomery, the most populated city is Birmingham and the oldest city is Mobile, which was founded by French colonists.

For anyone looking to escape cold, wet winters, the climate in Alabama ranges from mild to hot with summer temperatures climbing to 100 degrees - perfect for a warm getaway. Winters are less harsh here, with temperatures ranging from 30 to 60 degrees.

History buffs will enjoy exploring any of the state’s 36 national historic landmarks and more than 1,200 locations that are part of the National Register of Historic Places. All of Alabama is steeped in rich and interesting facts from its beginning up until the present time.

Things to Do in Alabama

U.S. Space & Rocket Center: When visiting Huntsville, be sure to stop by the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, a museum showcasing achievements, rockets and artifacts from the United States’ space program. The museum is home to more than 1,500 permanent pieces relating to space exploration. The U.S. Space & Rocket Center also offers two camp programs where people can stay on-site and learn more about space with the U.S. Space Camp or aviation with the Aviation Challenge. Along with displays, you can also check out the Spacedome Theater, Rocket Park and Education Training Center that houses NASA’s Educator Resource Center.

Birmingham Zoo and Montgomery Zoo: Animal lovers are sure to enjoy a trip to either zoo in Birmingham or Montgomery, or maybe even both! The Birmingham Zoo is home to about 800 different animals of more than 200 species. It’s also a force in elephant conservation, featuring a Trails of Africa exhibit. Along with the elephants, you can visit with rhinos, giraffes, birds and other creatures. The Montgomery Zoo allows visitors to take a trip to South America, Asia and other countries without ever leaving Alabama. With more than 500 animals, there’s plenty to see here, including elephants, penguins, zebras and more.

USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park: One of the country’s most unique military attractions, The USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park provides an exciting experience for the whole family. Bryant-Denny Stadium: In Tuscaloosa, you’ll find the home of the University of Alabama and Bryant-Denny Stadium. Originally the football shrine was built to honor the university’s first president, it was amended later to also honor the famous Alabama football coach Paul “Bear” Bryant. If you visit during football season, taking in a game between the Crimson Tide and the Tigers is sure to be entertaining both on and off the field.
