  • Paradise!

"We stayed in this condo for 5 days and we had an awesome time! I would recommend this place to anyone. Very good pricing and a beautiful place to stay. We watched the dolphins swimming in the river everyday and swam in the pool at least once a day. Great location!"

  • Didn't want to leave!~

"I don't even know where to begin with this review. I can not say enough nice things not only about the property, but more importantly about Jodi! We wanted a place to take my graduating son and a friend to. Found this Seawind condo along with several other properties. I eventually chose this one becasue Jodi was so easy to deal with and so accomidating for our family. We had myself and my husband, my mom and dad as well as two 18 year olds and there was plenty of room. The balcony was wonderful, dolphins made apperances in the morning! All appliances, linens, beds were all top of the line. Decor was great and everything was very very clean! Both beds were king size which you NEVER see and the bonus room with the queen futon was wonderful! We tried several restaurants from Sea n' Suds, Bahama Bobs, Gulf House Grill, The Hangout, Flora-Bama and Papa Rocco's, all I would recommend. Although we had terrible weather and it rained everyday except one, I will not complain becasue reguardless, we were at the beach in a great condo, living the dream! I would go back and rent any property from Jodi again, what a wonderful experience! Thank you so much for sharing your property with me and my family. We made memories that will never be forgotten!"

  • Excellent Property

"We stayed at this unit for 3 nights recently and were very impressed with the accommodations. The property is beautiful, clean, well maintained and kitchen well stocked with everything and more than you need for a relaxing time. The view from the balcony was fabulous. The kids enjoyed the pool, the tubs and the racquetball court. We will definitely book this condo again."

  • 6 over 65 Sisters from another mother

"This is a girls retreat for the 6 of us. We enjoy everything about this condo. We love taking our coffee to the balcony and watching the dolphins, stingrays, jelly fish and all the large fish swimming right below our balcony. The condo is equipped with anything we needed. We cooked many of our meals and found all the things we needed to cook and eat with. In the master b/r there is a jacuzzi for relaxing. The closet is large enough to store everything you could possible want to bring with you (including people) The lazy river is so much fun. There are many different sizes of pools. We, also, enjoyed going to the Cobalt Restaurant. We will continue to visit yearly. If you are looking for an all around great place for all ages then you have found the right place. From the 6 we loved every minute of our vacation."

Alabama Travel Tips

Known as the "Heart of Dixie," Alabama borders Tennessee, Georgia, Mississippi and Florida. Though the capital of Alabama is Montgomery, the most populated city is Birmingham and the oldest city is Mobile, which was founded by French colonists.

For anyone looking to escape cold, wet winters, the climate in Alabama ranges from mild to hot with summer temperatures climbing to 100 degrees - perfect for a warm getaway. Winters are less harsh here, with temperatures ranging from 30 to 60 degrees.

History buffs will enjoy exploring any of the state’s 36 national historic landmarks and more than 1,200 locations that are part of the National Register of Historic Places. All of Alabama is steeped in rich and interesting facts from its beginning up until the present time.

Things to Do in Alabama

U.S. Space & Rocket Center: When visiting Huntsville, be sure to stop by the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, a museum showcasing achievements, rockets and artifacts from the United States’ space program. The museum is home to more than 1,500 permanent pieces relating to space exploration. The U.S. Space & Rocket Center also offers two camp programs where people can stay on-site and learn more about space with the U.S. Space Camp or aviation with the Aviation Challenge. Along with displays, you can also check out the Spacedome Theater, Rocket Park and Education Training Center that houses NASA’s Educator Resource Center.

Birmingham Zoo and Montgomery Zoo: Animal lovers are sure to enjoy a trip to either zoo in Birmingham or Montgomery, or maybe even both! The Birmingham Zoo is home to about 800 different animals of more than 200 species. It’s also a force in elephant conservation, featuring a Trails of Africa exhibit. Along with the elephants, you can visit with rhinos, giraffes, birds and other creatures. If you visit during football season, taking in a game between the Crimson Tide and the Tigers is sure to be entertaining both on and off the field.
