  • First time in Alaska

"Fantastic place. Just what we needed for our stay in Anchorage with our family of 5 adults. Laura made us feel so welcome, with homemade banana bread and wonderful breakfast foods. In addition, she added so many other nice touches to make us feel very comfortable. We loved visiting with both her and her sweet dog, Luka, but felt the freedom to come and go. We loved being able prepare our dinner after buying our seafood at the local market. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling to Anchorage. So much better than staying in a hotel."

  • Great Christmas in Anchorage

"We stayed 9 days and were impressed at the well-stocked condo. There were five of us and we were quite comfortable. Loved that we could cook, do laundry, play games, pappa and grandson could watch football in living room or bedroom-"Yeh". The condo was convenient for getting to the places we wanted to go, and it had everything we needed. Had a great Christmas in Alaska. Would definitely stay again."

  • Love the condo

"we have a group of 10 people, staying there for 3 days. and it was really great for us to spend days there. there are 4 nice and cozy bedrooms, and a lovely kitchen with all the tools we need. we enjoyed the stay in the condo and highly recommended to those who have cars, since it is a little far away from the downtown (about minutes drive) PS. there is a really great Korean restaurant just across the street, called Tofu House"

  • Long Term Stay

"We occupied this unit for a longer stay than the average visitor to Anchorage as it was our temporary housing while moving to the area. The unit is quite large, especially for a vacation rental - much larger than any hotel room you would find. It is stocked with all the basics that you would require while visiting Alaska and very clean. Both bedrooms are large and the Master Bedroom, which is outfitted with a King Size bed, has a private Master Bath. This makes sharing the unit with multiple people much more comfortable than your standard hotel room. Plenty of towels, blankets & bedding. Full size washer & dryer should you stay long enough to require it. The location is perfect! Right near major roads for driving anywhere to explore Alaska yet within easy walking distance of downtown and the ocean. Lovely park nearby with great trails to explore as well. It is also located on a smaller side street so there is limited traffic on your road, you feel tucked away and private! Curling up near the gas fireplace on cool evenings makes everything seem warm & cozy! The owner and our hostess for this property is a lovely woman who does what she can to help your stay be all that you were expecting. She went above and beyond to help us out with several situations and we felt privileged to get to know her while renting this unit. We felt like she actually cared about the quality of our stay and that all of our needs were met. This made our relocation experience much easier and as though she was our official welcoming committee for the state of Alaska. If you want to "live like a local" or have the benefit of privacy, this is a great unit to accomplish just that."
