  • Cute Vintage House

"We loved the vintage feel in this cute house, but we have an appreciation for these things..the house next door was under extensive outside remodeling but it was nice to see it being restored though a little unsightly. I was a bit disappointed that it wasn't more clean, crumbs and paint rollers in the fridge, microwave could have been wiped out and table and counters wiped down. A good vacuuming on the couch and a mop on the kitchen floor would be nice too, but the bedding was clean and beds were comfy. A short walk to the Sea Life Center and the awesome playground. Our 2 year old daughter had lots of room to run and play, bring a child safety gate for the stairs. It was perfect for her to sleep upstairs while we stayed up late. We would definitely stay again. The owners made it super easy!"

  • "Sweet Retreat"

"We found Bob's Bungalow the perfect place for our family to stay....all four generations of us! The home was so cozy, clean, and had everything we needed including being very baby friendly. Its location was ideal for taking day trips and was close to stores when needed. How we enjoyed the spectacular view of the snow-covered mountains, kids with dogs playing on the frozen lake, and the magical northern lights! We highly recommend Vicki and her bungalow, and we thank her for the memories!!"

  • Best place EVER!

"My 3 friends and I stayed at Judy's Sprucecot at the end of May. It was PERFECT. Beautiful giant logs gave the house a rustic charm, but with all the necessary modern amenities we could need. And our hostess Judy was a wealth of information about the town and its history. The house is in a residential neighborhood, but only about 2 blocks from the heart of town. We were able to walk to town easily to enjoy the sights. Thanks for a great time, Judy! We hope to be back soon!"

  • Perfect Home Base for Homer

"We loved the architecture and detail in this home - views from every window. This was a very comfortable and quiet base for us. We liked the private entrance and sun deck off the main level. We had a car but were able to walk to the old part of town, the beach, shopping, and an awesome kids' park. The house is 2-bedroom but very spacious. And it worked so well for kids with a big soaking tub and safety gates on the stairs. Also a great place to get some work done - wifi and comfortable desks on both levels. We especially appreciated the opportunity to get some laundry done on our own time. Our hosts were so helpful and patient with us, too! Thank you for a beautiful getaway."
