Those with a love of speed can jet boat down the remote area of Twenty Mile River. Take a cruise out on the Prince William Sound to view the marine life here. Visitors can enjoy many species of birds and mammals and may even be lucky enough to spot a whale or two.

Nature lovers will want to explore the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. This wildlife refuge rescues orphaned or injured wildlife, and visitors can view the deer, moose, musk, bears and ox among the animals living here. It is a perfect place to take pictures of the wildlife since you are guaranteed to spot them.

Visitors may not expect the opportunity to indulge in some wonderful dining while in such a remote region but they will be delighted with the choice of restaurants here. There is everything from traditional American and wholly Alaskan cuisine to international cuisine such as the Japanese restaurant, Katsura Teppanyaki.
