"we stayed here two nights and wish we had stayed longer! it's very close to the airport, but also close to restaurants. unfortunately, we left early and arrived late everyday, as we were exploring beautiful Alaska, but we really wished we could have stayed longer and really enjoyed the place. it is a b&b, but you have your own apartment, including kitchen, right in front of a lake where you can go canoeing! the owners were extremely helpful and really nice. there is a private bedroom and a sofa-bed in the living room, sleeping 4 total comfortably. they leave you breakfast everyday in the kitchen, so you can eat it whenever is more convenient for you. really beautiful place, we loved it!"

"The Asian Moyif was the perfect retreat. Very clean and the bed was comfortable! The kitchen was a good size and the decor was gorgeous! We were in a great area for day trips and we even stayed inside and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere on a cool, rainy day. We loved it!"

"Simply put... Magnificent! The cabin, the host (Catkin is a delight!), the location, and especially THE VIEW! Other joys included the visiting porcupines munching clover in the meadow in front of the cabin, the freedom to explore the Kilcher Homestead, meeting the very real and down-to-earth Kilcher family members busy with the work of the day to day (a dry season causing a lack of water for the animals etc during our stay), the walk down to Kilcher Beach with so many incredible views of the bay, homestead, hay fields, fireweed, eagles... and more!
The biggest "problem" was knowing when to come inside in the land of the midnight sun. It's nearly impossible to stop soaking in the view of the glaciers, mountains, bay, forests and meadows as the light changes through the day and evening.
We also enjoyed the town of Homer, sailing off of Homer Spit, and pizza at Finn's on the spit.
Our visit to Glacierview and Homer was a true highlight of our two week trip! Many thanks to Catkin for such a warm welcome!"
