"Our family of 11 (including grandchildren between the ages of 12 yo to 4 months) were extremely comfortable. We rented the entire house which included 2 up-to-date, well appointed apartments and could not have asked for more. Each apt which was very clean. had fully equipped kitchens/washesr & dryers/ bbq grills and the downstairs apt. even had some rain/fishing gear. We did not hesitate to utilize the grills for bbq-ing our catch-of-the-day. The upstairs apartment with huge windows allowing for beautiful views of the glacier, appeared to be recently added and believe is the owners/children off season residence. Our grandchildren had a blast playing (respectfully) with a collection of Legos, Star Wars stuff, craft supplies, etc. that the owners graciously allowed. A perfect location, close to the water and to town/fishing charters, tours, etc/stores/restaurants/museums - most were in walking distance. The owners, Leanne and Dan, were helpful with good tips and recommendations for making our visit complete. We were in touch with them via email prior to our visit and got to meet them as we arrived. I would highly recommend either apartment for a great vacation."

"Our family of 10 stayed at the Bear Paw Lodge during our visit to Seward for 8 nights this July and we absolutely loved it. You can't ask for two better hosts than Wendy and Dave (and their two adorable pups, Jax and Logan). From the time we sent the initial inquiry, to asking questions about Seward and getting back to us very quickly, they made the entire process incredibly easy. The lodge is the perfect size and has wonderful amenities. They even thought of the small things that really make u feel like you are home, like a welcoming plate of delicious chocolate chip cookies, q-tips, scissors, hair dryers, etc. Those small essentials were icing on the cake. Bear Paw was our "home" during our wonderful stay on the Kenai Peninsula and if we ever go back we would definitely stay there again. I would recommend Bear Paw to anyone looking good for a beautiful, charming, "home away from home" in Seward."

"My wife and I spent four days on the ground floor of this beautiful house in August of 2014. It was a B & B arrangement as the owner, David, was living upstairs on the third floor. Plenty of comfort and privacy. Great to have David on site as he was helpful with advice about exploring the area and fishing. The large fishing platform below the house was fantastic. Make sure to bring a few days worth of groceries and other items unless you want to drive the 17 to 20 miles into Soldotna each day- although there is a small (limited) general store, just four miles down the road. Relax on the deck, catch the afternoon sun, and grill the catch of the day. Then sit around the fire pit at night and watch the stars while listening to the river roll on by. Paradise in Alaska!"
